NEGES Y LLYWYDD ~ PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE Little did I think when I was a junior member welcoming everyone to the 1971 show that I would be the Show President in 2019. An honour I am very proud of. Having been a member of the Show Committee for many years and holding various official posts I am fully aware of the amount of hard work that goes into organising a Show.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the committee members past and present and everyone who has been involved in making the 51st Show a success. Thanks must go to the competitors for supporting the show, without competitors there would not be a Show.
I hope everyone has a successful and enjoyable day.
Ychydig gwnes i feddwl pan oeddwn yn aelod iau yn croesawu pawb i Sioe 1971 y byddwn i’n Llywydd Sioe 2019. Ystyriaf hyn yn anrhydedd mawr. Wedi bod yn aelod o Bwyllgor y Sioe am flynyddoedd a dal amrywiaeth o swyddi, ‘rwyf yn ymwybodol o’r holl waith caled sydd ynghlwm â threfnu Sioe.
Hoffwn gymeryd y cyfle yma i ddiolch i’r swyddogion ac aelodau pwyllgorau’r gorffennol a phresennol a phawb arall sydd wedi bod yn gysylltiedig â’r sioe eleni i’w gwneud yn llwyddiannus. Rhaid diolch hefyd i’r cystadleuwyr am gefnogi’r sioe, achos heb gystadleuwyr ni fyddai sioe.
Gobeithio y caiff bawb ddiwrnod llwyddianus a phleserus.
Frances Davies Llywydd y Sioe
