2. As in the existing practice, all non-local qualifications are to be assessed on a case-by-case basis. The Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation and Vocational Qualifications

(HKCAAVQ) provides assessment services on qualifications awarded by granting bodies outside Hong Kong. Each application will be assessed independently on whether the totality

of the educational qualifications of an individual is comparable to the Certificate in Early Childhood Education (C(ECE)) / Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education (BEd(ECE))

/ Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Early Childhood Education (PGDE(ECE)). The related assessment expenses shall be borne by the applicants. Enquiries shall be made to

the HKCAAVQ direct.
