ANF1306: ХҮЧДЭЛ ТАСРАХ СААТАЛ (POEB) Тодорхойлолт:

Машины аваарын зогсолтын товч (POEB) дарагдсан. Дарах товчны толгойн хэсэг нь улаан, мөнгөлөг

шилбэтэй байна. Машин механик тормос бариулж зогсох ба бүх PLC тасралтын дараа дахин

хүчдэлтэй болохыг хянана. Хүчдлийн контакторын хөтлүүр нээлттэй байх ба тогтмол гүйдлийн шин

алгуур тасарна. Энэ саатал арилсаны дараа машиныг бүрэн зогсоох шаардлагатай. / Pushbutton

аваарын зогсолтын товч. Машиныг асаалт хийж тогтворжсоны дараа дахин асаалт хийнэ. Хэрэв

машин дахин асаалт хийж болохгүй байгаа бол цахилгаанчин дуудаж засварлуулна.

Засварлах үйл ажиллагаа:

1. Машины аваарын зогсолтын бүх 3 товч (POEB1-POEB3) дарагдаж, залгах контакт тасарсан.

2. Check for an active POEB input on the applicable PLC AC input module.

3. PLC –н оролтын утас хавчаарт холбогдсон эсэхийг шалгах ба оролтын хүчдэл 120 вольт байна.

"ACTIVE” гэсэн ногоон индикатор хувьсах гүйдлийн оролтыг мэдээлнэ. Хэрэв шаардлагатай бол

хувьсах гүйдлийн оролтыг засварлана.

ANF1307: PLC ХОЛБОЛТЫН СААТЛЫН ИЛЭРҮҮЛЭЛТ Тодорхойлолт:

SIBAS ба PLC –н хоорондох холболт тасарсан. Эдгээр хоѐр системийн хоорондох холболт тасарсан

тохиолдолд экскаватор дахь компьютер бүх хугацааны турш ажиллах ѐстой. Энэ программыг

RockySimaticServer гэж нэрлэнэ. Энэ нь сааатлыг бүртгэх хоѐр хэсгээс тогтоно. Эхнийх нь хэрэв

ANF1313: Хөтлүүрийн хяналтын өрөөний температурын дохио

Тодорхойлолт: There is an over-temperature in either the SiBas Cabinet or Power Supply cabinet. Either TH01 (Цахилгаан

хангамжийн кабин) or TH02 (SiBas кабин) detects this condition. These thermostats open at 115 deg. F

and will re-close at 95 deg. F. An over-temperature in these cabinets will cause a delayed shutdown of the

machine. If the cabinet temperature is OK, the thermostat is closed.

TH01 is wired to the ET200 digital input card A102 Slot 4 (located under the SiBas Rack) input 6. TH02 is

wired to input 7. The status of the inputs can be observed either on the HMI screen for ET200 racks, or by

the status of input light on the card itself.

ANF1328 КОНТАКТОР НЭЭХ ХӨТЛҮҮРИЙН СИСТЕМ

5. Check if the red "FUSE" indicator on the AC output module is illuminated. If so, replace the fuse and/or

the entire output module (module replacement is recommended), as well as checking for shorted output

coils and wiring.

6. Check that the HV Contactor Control Relay (CR1) located in the ZHV cabinet is energized, and that all CR1

auxiliary contacts are closed. 7. Verify that the DPC holding coil and Control Relay 2 (CR2) become energized, and that all CR2 auxiliary contacts

close. 8. Check that the DPC closing coil energizes after the closing of the CR2 contacts, and that DPC closes. Upon

closing of DPC, CR2 de-energizes and drops out, opening CR2 auxiliary contacts and de-energizing DPC closing

coil. The DPC holding coil remains energized and maintains the DPC closed condition (controlled by CR1 relay contacts).

To reset these parameters, the HOIST/CROWD LIMIT CALIBRATION screen must be selected on the

Operator’s Display. This screen has security clearance, and a customer assigned number must be entered

before access to this screen will be permitted. Successful transfer to this screen will automatically set the

maximum speed of both the hoist and crowd motions to about 20% of maximum. While on this screen, all

motion limits will be disabled. Before calling for this screen, the operator should set the crowd handle near

its crowd end stop. The hoist and crowd should be used to raise the dipper to near their maximum positions.

When both of these positions are achieved, then the operator can call for this screen. When the operator gets

to this screen, they should then continue to position the hoist and crowd at slow speed until the motions are in

the position described on the screen.

that function. If this is accidentally done at the wrong position, it will not be possible to exit this

screen until the limits are set correctly. Any movement of either the hoist or crowd motions will

be done at approximately 20% speed or lower.

When the dipper is in the correct position as described on the screen (maximum hoist and full handle

extension) press the screen indicator to calibrate the encoders. To calibrate the HOIST STOP LIMIT move

the dipper to the desired position at which it should stop. Press the appropriate screen indicator to accept the

limit position. To calibrate the HOIST SLOW DOWN LIMIT, move the dipper to the desired position at

which it should stop. Press the appropriate screen indicator to accept the limit position.

Set all other limits in a similar manner by following the instructions on this Operator’s Display screen. The

encoders must be recalibrated any time the drive ropes are changed (i.e. disconnected from the drum) or an

encoder is replaced. Encoders must also be recalibrated if the drum is ever moved with power off of the

machine. Once encoders are recalibrated, the motion limits return to their previously set values. If the

microprocessor battery fails when power is off of the machine, the encoders must be recalibrated and limits

set. Any of these conditions will be annunciated on the Operator’s Display. After calibration is complete,

return to the main menu or operator’s display screen.

and rope loads (i.e. dipper weight), it is recommended that the slowdown limits be tried several

times while increasing speeds from minimum to maximum, to determine if sufficient distance is

ANF1348: SYSTEM GROUND FAULT Тодорхойлолт:

ANF1349: +24V Gate Unit Power Supply CB (Q09) Tripped

Тодорхойлолт: Circuit Breaker Q09 is being read by the PLC as being open. The circuit breaker (mounted in the Power

Supply and Breaker Cabinet) feeds the Power Supply for the Gate Firing Units for the IGBTs. For this reason

there should/may be SiBas Faults identifying bad check back signals on all of the blocks.

The circuit breaker is monitored from it’s aux. contacts which are fed into the E200 Digital Input Card

located below the SiBas rack. This input goes into the card in Slot 5, terminal 14. The input status can be

monitored from the HMI ET200 Screens or directly from the status LED on the module itself.

ANF1350: +110v DC Power Supply CB Tripped (Q07)

located below the SiBas rack. This input goes into the card in Slot 5, terminal 13. The input status can be

monitored from the HMI ET200 Screens or directly from the status LED on the module itself.

ANF1351: UPS CB Tripped (Q08)

Circuit Breaker Q08 is being read by the PLC as being open. The circuit breaker (mounted in the Power

Supply and Breaker Cabinet) feeds the Un-interruptible Power Supply (UPS) or power supply for the

computer and PLC. If this circuit breaker is tripped, the UPS will either be off or be on internal battery

power. If it’s on battery power, the front panel lights will be blinking.

The circuit breaker is monitored from it’s aux. contacts which are fed into the ET200 Digital Input Card

located below the SiBas rack. This input goes into the card in Slot 5, terminal 12. The input status can be

monitored from the HMI ET200 Screens or directly from the status LED on the module itself.

a ET200 Digital Output Card located in Slot 6 Terminal 3 of the drive skid ET200 rack. The rack is located

below the SiBas. The output card uses 120vac to energize the contactor on terminals A1 & A2.

The precharge contactors are located on the back wall of the power supply cabinet. Each contactor is located

above its associated breaker.

The circuit breaker is monitored from it’s aux. Contacts (13 & 14) which are fed into the ET200 Digital Input

Card located below the SiBas rack. This input goes into the card in Slot 4, terminal 16. The input status can

be monitored from the HMI ET200 Screens or directly from the status LED on the module itself.

During this procedure dangerous voltages can be present on the bus or the device.

1. Bring the Bus Down. Lockout DPC. Keep it locked out for the duration of the test.

2. Have somebody turn on the Bus from the operator’s cab, while K301 is observed.

3. If K301 doesn’t energize, then measure the voltage on terminals A1 to A2. It should be 120vac while

the contactor is commanded on.

4. If there is no voltage present, check the output of the ET200 Digital Output Card located in Slot 6,

terminal 3. If there is no voltage coming out, check to see that there is input power coming into the

card on the top terminal.

5. If there is, replace the output card

6. If the contactor closes but there is no indication, then perform the following steps.

7. Turn off the breaker below KC 301.

8. Manually close KC301 while observing the status on ET200 Digital Input Card located in Slot 4

Terminal 14 of the drive skid ET200 rack. For this operation, either the HMI ET200 display screens

can be used or you can directly observe the module.

9. If the input fails to go active, then check the wiring for where the voltage is lost.

10. If the AUX contacts are bad the contactor must be replaced.

11. Replace the ET200 card if necessary.

ANF1356: CROWD MOTOR RTD DEFECTIVE Тодорхойлолт:

One of the three Crowd motor RTD’s is defective. The PLC program constantly checks for the status of each

one of the RTD’s located in the motor (one per phase). The logic in the program will look for differences

between the three reading and will flag if one of them differs from any the other two more than 30º Celsius

or if any of them is out of range.

ANF1361 HARDWARE ISTR TIMER MALFUNCTION

Whenever any of the Power Off Emergency Stop Buttons (POEB1, POEB2, POEB3, etc.) are pressed, the

PLC Output Bus Contactor Relay (IOC) drops out instantaneously. This must happen in order to remove

power from and disable all of the PLC AC outputs, and de-energize the Drive Power Contactor (DPC). If this

mechanical relay contact fails to open within 0.9 seconds after the POEB button is pressed, the PLC will

detect this as an error condition and generate this fault. Pressing the System Run Pushbutton (SRB) after the

fault occurs will clear this fault.

ANF1371 HOIST ENCODER FAULT This fault was detected because the hoist encoder is not "counting" properly. This fault can only be cleared by pressing

the RESET push-button on the "FAULT COUNTER/OPERATING HOURS" screen on the operator’s display. Please note how many Hoist encoder errors have been counted before pressing the RESET button. This indicates the severity

of the fault and the condition of the encoder. As the Hoist motion is moved, the value will sequentially change between 0 and 255. A total of 256 counts represent

one complete revolution of the encoder. The hoist encoder is driven through a 4.8:1 gearbox reduction, so that 4.8 hoist

drum revolutions are equal to one complete encoder revolution.

A jumper wire has been installed on the applicable PLC AC input module input terminal, in order to disable

the encoder position limit checking on the hoist and crowd motions. Removal of the jumper is required in

When one of these jumpers is installed, the limits are removed from the motions as described below and the

crowding out direction is limited in speed to limit damage to the end of the handle.

The Transfer Switch, located in the bottom of the drives control cabinet, is used to change the motor

connections between hoist, crowd and propel. The switch is powered by the Dipper Trip Motor power

supply. The supply delivers unregulated 125 VDC.

The Transfer Switch has a control section in the center of the assembly. It also includes a DC motor that

moves the switch as well as auxiliary contacts for status detection.

The PLC monitors the switch via an ET200 mounted below the Maintenance Computer (Node 7). Both

inputs are located at the Digital Input card in slot 4. Dig is found at terminal 12 and propel at terminal 13.

PLC Node 7

The circuits that feed power to the Transfer Switch motor are found in the PLC auxiliary cabinet ET200

node. The circuit that detects the Dipper Trip is also located in this cabinet.

For the transfer process, there is a Digital Output card in slot 10 of the cabinet. Terminal 3 is used to change

into dig (energizing the DTRC contactor) and terminal 5 is used to change into propel (energizing the PTRC

contactor). PLC Node 5

If the Dipper Trip breaker (DTB) doesn’t close, the Transfer Switch cannot be energized.

Active Logic: Go to the Dig / Propel contactor screen. This will show what signal was sent by the PLC and

what confirmation signal it is awaiting.

ANF 1376 Fault in Transferring from Propel to Dig

Тодорхойлолт: While transferring from propel to dig, the PLC did not detect the Transfer Switch in the correct position.

The Transfer Switch, located in the bottom of the drives control cabinet, is used to change the motor

connections between hoists, crowd and propel. The switch is powered by the Dipper Trip Motor power

supply. The supply delivers unregulated 125 VDC.

The Transfer Switch has a control section in the center of the assembly. It also includes a DC motor that

moves the switch as well as auxiliary contacts for status detection.

The PLC monitors the switch via an ET200 mounted below the Maintenance Computer (Node 7). Both

inputs are located at the Digital Input card in slot 4. Dig is found at terminal 12 and propel at terminal 13.

The circuits that feed power to the Transfer Switch motor are found in the PLC auxiliary cabinet ET200

node. The circuit that detects the Dipper Trip is also located in this cabinet.

For the transfer process, there is a Digital Output card in slot 10 of the cabinet. Terminal 3 is used to change

into dig (energizing the DTRC contactor) and terminal 5 is used to change into propel (energizing the PTRC

contactor). PLC Node 5

If the Dipper Trip breaker (DTB) doesn’t close, the Transfer Switch cannot be energized.

what confirmation signal it is awaiting.

ANF1378 MOTION MOVEMENT WITH POWER OFF

The PLC has detected that either the Hoist or Crowd motion has changed position with PLC power off.

Therefore the position encoders are no longer calibrated correctly. It will be necessary to recalibrate the

hoist/crowd encoders in order to clear the fault and return the machine to operation, since this fault puts the

Hoist and Crowd drives into a reduced speed mode.

To reset these parameters, the Calibration Screen must be selected on the Operator’s Display in the

operator’s cab. This screen has security clearance, and a customer assigned number must be entered before

access to this screen will be permitted. Successful transfer to this screen will automatically set the maximum

speed of both the hoist and crowd motions to about 20% of maximum. When the operator gets to this screen,

he should position the hoist and crowd at slow speed until the motions are in the position described on the

screen.

Move the dipper at slow speed to maximum positions (Hoist at point sheaves, Crowd handle all the way out).

Press the CALIBRATE ENCODERS button. The encoders are now calibrated. After calibration is complete,

return to the Home Screen by pressing the HOME Icon.

Note: After encoder calibration is done, hoist and crowd slowdown and stop limits return to their previous

values. Therefore, motion limit recalibration is not required when this fault occurs unless they were set

improperly prior to the fault. It is recommended to check the limit values to make sure they have not

changed.

2. Check that the masterswitch auxiliary contacts are functioning correctly. The "Remote Drum Control

Masterswitch (RDCMSA) input on the applicable PLC AC input card should be de-energized when the

3. Check for an active RDCMSA (Remote Drum Control Masterswitch Auxiliary) input when the

masterswitch is moved in the hoist or retract direction.

5. Check that the RDCMSA wires are connected to the proper PLC AC input module terminal, and that the

input voltage levels measure 120vac when reference is given as described in steps 3 and 4. Verify that the

green "ACTIVE" indicator on the AC input module is illuminated. Replace the AC input module if

necessary.

ANF1393: DRIVES AND BUS OFF WITH DRIVE POWER CONTACTOR ON Тодорхойлолт:

Normally, the Precharge contactors (K201, K301) close, bringing the DC link voltage to 1250V. At that time,

the contactors are opened and the DPC is closed to feed the AFEs. The AFEs should continue charging to

1800VDC.

The Drive Power Contactor is being sensed as being closed, while the DC Bus is at a low value with motions

gate blocked. This fault forces the drive power contactor to open under these circumstances.

and the PC is running on battery.

The Hoist Brake Wear Switch (HBWS) contact is open assuming that it is adjusted properly and that the

brake is in good operating condition. The contact closes when excessive brake wear has been sensed and the

brake is in the set position. The Hoist Brake Wear Switch (HBWS) is only operational when the brake is set.

It is not active during machine operation.

This fault occurs when the brake’s center plate temperature has been sensed as exceeding 300° +/- 5° F

(148.89° +/- 2.78° C). The machine will enter a delayed shutdown mode. The delayed shutdown beeper will

begin sounding, and the operator has 30 seconds to park the machine for service before motion control is

disabled via the PLC. Swing and crowd motions can be restarted. Propel motion can be started after transfer

back to propel mode.

If the brake operating temperature is within normal operating range, the Hoist Brake Over temperature

Sensor (mounted to the center plate of the brake) contact remains closed. When an over temperature occurs,

the Hoist Brake Over temperature Sensor (HBOT) contact opens, thus triggering the delayed shutdown. The

HBOT contact re-closes at 295° F (146.11° C).

The breaker that feeds 3 phase AC to the Precharge 1 Circuit is open or tripped. Therefore, the PLC will not

continue with the precharge operation. The breaker (Q301) is located on the back wall of the power supply

cabinet, just above precharge contactor 1 (K301).

There are 2 precharge circuits in the machine. Precharge circuit #1 works by taking the auxiliary ac voltage

(380 – 575V), feeding it through breaker (Q301), switching it through contactor K301, running it through 2

series connected step up transformers (T301 and T302), through 2 rectifiers (A301 and A302), then on to the

bus. See Diagram.

The circuit breaker status is monitored by an ET200 Digital Input Card located under the SiBas rack. The

monitoring is done by the card in Slot 4, terminal 16 PLC Узел 7.

2) Make sure that the trip adjustment on the breaker is set to 2.4 amps.

3) Verify the integrity of related hardware such as the precharge transformer, resistors and diodes.

4) Close the breaker and make sure that the status monitoring is correct. Either the HMI ET200 screens or

the LED on the card can be used to verify the monitoring.

5) If the monitoring is not correct, troubleshoot the wiring.

6) If the monitoring is correct, inspect the terminal block on the T301 and T302 for tightness.

7) Inspect the rectifier connections for tightness. (located on the top of the skid in the enclosed box.)

8) If the circuit is correct, prepare to monitor the precharge process by hooking a meter or chart recorder to

either of the chopper current testpoints and the either of the DC Voltage testpoints. Both are located in

the testpoint box on the side of the skid by the SiBas Cabinet. The scaling is:

a) DC voltage: 5 volts = 1500 Volts

b) Chopper Current: 5v = 1250 Amps

9) With DPC still locked out, start the bus. The precharge should charge the bus to a little over 1300 volts in

a few seconds. If the contactors close, but the bus doesn’t charge, you will probably be able to observe a

small amount of chopper current. This should be accompanied by a Chopper Error message. Follow that

procedure.

10) If the bus charges normally, but the breaker still trips, replace the breaker.

ANF1456: AFE Precharge Breaker 2 Open (Q201)

CDA002 PLC SETPOINTS LOADED FROM FLASH

The setpoints stored in the memory have been lost and the PLC has restored the default values from the

flash memory. The machine will operate at reduced speeds until all of the values have been re-entered.

Once all values have been entered, the machine will be allowed to operate at normal speeds. The

following values needed to be re-entered:

adequate lubrication to the mechanical components can occur and reduce the life of these components. It

is recommended that a mechanical person assists with these values, but if this is not possible, then enter
