Giona Maiarelli Inspired by the modularity of tangram puzzles and the ancient wood craft of intarsia, Giona Maiarelli’s two wood grain inspired patterns—Intarsio and Tangram—offer a unique interpretation on modern wood trends. Topografik, recalling the fluid forms of elevation maps, stands in contrast to Stella’s playful but angular shapes in astrology. Both portray a seemingly arbitrary series of lines that bring meaning only in their relation to each other.

Giona Maiarelli is the creative director of Maiarelli Studio, a Brooklyn based visual communication and branding studio with a diverse international clientele.

Marina Sagona Influenced by nostalgia for the aesthetics of her childhood in Italy in the 70s, and by the romance and energy of her home city, New York, Marina Sagona’s patterns combine a retro vibrance that compliments her characteristic and energetic illustrative style. This collection effortlessly combines the use of playful colors and whimsy with elegant movement and grace.

Marina Sagona was born in Rome, Italy, and moved to New York twenty years ago. She’s an illustrator, an author and co-founder of the interior design company, Less&More.
