Cant agree with Mr. Adam Levine more. Actually, HBB, Kim Kardashian and latest Jill Kelleyevents all represent our societys moral decay.

I couldnt agree more with Mr. Levine, and have been saying pretty much the exact samething for years. Why is it that so many Americans are enthralled with so called reality tv?None of it is real and it is accomplishing nothing more than making our alreadyuneducated kids, even more stupid. Most kids today cannot tell you who the U. S.Secretary of the State is but they can all tell you who Kim Kardashian is boinking. Itsextremely upsetting that this is road that America is turning down. And the fact that theyounger generation, the ones that watch all this reality tv crap, are going to be the onesrunning this country in another 25 or so years. Pathetic!

Totally agree with Mr. Levine. I abhor the Honey Boo Boo show along with theKardashians, Jersey Shore, Ice Loves Coco, and the myriad of stupid and dumb realityshows that seem to have enraptured our nation of dimwits.

Its the tea party crew who watches. The idolize stupid things.

Maybe they are putting that money away forHoney Boo Boos education, contributing to their community or other worthwhile projects.By all indications that child has a sweet spirit and is being raised in a loving home. When a show aired in the english language (or their version of it) needs subtitles tounderstand what they are saying.well what can you say. I admit I watched the show onetime I felt my IQ drop several points. It was scary!

And I am not defending these shows. I just choose to never ever watch them. I have neverseen a single episode of any reality show except the second season of Survivor and thatwas all I could take. We are all free to turn off the channel.

He hates them for the very fact that Honey Boo Boo and her family are real this is one ofthe few reality shows that shows a family as they actually are, no apologies and no actingor pretending. The fact that he hates them for this says more about HIS character, notHoney Boo Boo or her familys. They are who they are. Hating someone for who they areand the intolerance and evil that goes along with it (swearing about a 5-year-old) is thereal decay of civilization.

Ive never seen the program in question, though just looking at pictures of the peopleinvolved tends to make me agree it represents the decay ofwestern civilization. Never saw the Honey Boo Boo program and didnt know what it was until I googled it.Never saw the Voice or knew who Adam Levine was until I googled him. Neither writeupthat I read entices me to turn to their shows, in fact, just the opposite. My opinion is they

I agree that HBB is ridiculous. But so is it when men put goo in their hair so it standsstraight up.

I miss scripted television shows with real writers and actors. sigh

All those shows, including the Voice, are crap. Get rid of them all and watch ME-TV! Oldershows are the best. Id much rather watch a rerun of an old M.A.S.H show than most of thecurrent stuff.

You, however, appear on a show,where you want to appear professional, however most of the time, wear a ratted up t-shirt,

with underarm stains, and look like youve climbed straight out of bed onto the set. Itsdisturbing to me, that you have just dropped the f bomb about an entire family, includinga 6 year old little girl, and then attacked them about the way they treat their children. Getyour head out of your a*hole, and learn that while others may be different, and you maynot understand them, it doesnt mean they are bad people. You have no right to judge, atall. Shame on you!

Yes, except that if you play that card, youalso have to realize that human nature comes with the capacity to draw a line, to hold fastagainst the dehumanization and incremental tearing down of the social fabric, even if thisnever-ending onslaught of reality television suggests thats a losing effort. This girl feels loved and her family hasfun together. On an everyday basis she is much better off than many kids in ourneighborhood, whose parents are too busy to give them any positive attention. There arekids being murdered, tortured, beaten by their so-called decent-appearing parents. Butlets take this girl away from her parents?! Please get your priorities straight!

I also generally disapprove of Honey Boo Boo and what it represents trendwise. Thatbeing said, reign it in a little, Adam. And on a related note, the popularity of The Voicedoes not make it a good show, either. Just saying.

There is nothing lower than this mother and her offspring. Can you imagine allowing yourchildren to watch this tripe.

Television has sunk to a new low. Moron shows for moron intellects, yet cable and satellitecompanies are constantly increasing their charges for their quality programming. Itsfrightening to have families like HBBs held up to the public as the average Americanfamily, because if theyre average, we really are in trouble.

Its obvious that the producers of such dribble are getting their jobs because their parentseither own those production companies, or spread some money around to get Junior his

job. Next thing you know, well have tv shows with actors pretending to be HBB and herfamily, in the same way actors now portray famous people in biographies about Lincoln orStephen Hawking. Thank God for Amazon and Barnes and Noble. TVs a wasteland.

I thought that if you commit a crime you cant profit from that crime by selling a book orfilm rights or something.

This is child abuse, televised. The fact that these unfit parents televise their unfit-ness ispart of the crime. How will this child ever have a decent life? If shes not dead by 25 shellbe a train wreck of an alcoholic / drug addict if not that, her relationship with her parents

will not be healthy.

Ive seen Mr. Levine in some questionable raunchy television himself- the disgustinglyoverly violent and gratuitously sexual American Horror Story. Its all crap, so shut up andwork to change it. Get some class.

Ah Mr. Lavine dont you think we should be including the deplorable Kardashians toyour hate rant? I would say in so many ways, they are a far worse representation of wherewe are in society than some simple hillbillies. However, the Kardashians are pretty anddisgustingly overpaid for zero talent, like so many of your counterparts, so Im guessingthat wouldnt be a convenient target for your extreme anger!

I have watched bits of it here and there, but it really is pretty stupid. Since that is myopinion and I dont have to watch it, Ill survive. The thing that bothers me is the showgets ridiculed a lot by tv personalities and comics. I dont blame them, but I would hate toput my loved ones out there for all that ridicule even if they are making money. However,as stupid as it is, I dont really think it is worse than the Kardashians. I figure if youre goingto bash one, bash em all. About a year ago, I saw an actress who was bashing the JerseyShore show, but said she admired the Kardashians because they were people to look upto. What!!!????

This show is one of several reasons why the rest of the world hates us with a passion.

I agree with Mr. Lavine wholeheartedly. I am in my 50s and am disgusted by producersand people who create these trashy shows. There is a reality show on every possiblesubject, whether the show lasts a few weeks, seasons, the people who create these showsare on the same level. If they would life their sights and moral compases, probably wouldnot create as much controversy or make them the money they are seeking. There is onlyone reason to produce these shows right, for these people in Hollywood to make theirmoney. You have people from all walks of life watching these shows, some are like thepeople in these shows and can totally identify, some are curious that people are like this,live like this. I think it is sad that people involved with this show do not have enough selfrespect or pride. In western society, rudeness, obnoxious behavior is now deemedacceptable. I think if given the choice everyone who says they like this show or this famlywould never want to be them in real life. After all, its all about me isnt it, see the

Kardashian string of reality shows, the world is exposed to their drama and fights and alltheir stores and what have you. There is a reason why people from other states andcountries see California and alot of its people are flaky and weird, Hollywood keepsproducing these shows, it not only reinforces how people see the people on the show, butHollywood as a whole. I think the majority of mature people choose not to watch theseshows. They have more important things going on in their lives such as being responsible,working, raising a family, dealing with real life issues.

I have cable and most of the time we choose to watch high quality stations and movies.We watch Hallmark movies, History Channel, Food Network, Public Broadcasting. I have

seen commercials for Honey Boo Boo and that was enough for me. Toddlers and Tiaras,

Honey Boo Boo Show bugs me because the Parents are not married. They eat crap, andthey eat in the living room in front of the tv too much. Obesity is seriously a problem andthese girls are not given a fit meal or a fit way of life. Parents are adults but they mustprovide common sense meals and snacks, I am a large woman but none of my kids are fatthey are adults and not fat. I put out a fruit bowl, and healthy snacks. They did homeworkwith me at the kitchen table, then played and they were not allowed to hang out at thegas station. This show shows the bad habits that are killing our kids. That is what irks me.

Its pretty pathetic to see the pot calling the kettle black. Adam, lose the potty mouthand study some more so you can utilize the english language properly. I can only imaginehow your mother must feel when she reads the comments youve made. Youre a publicfigure and very impressionable young men and women look up to you and I would expectmore out of you. Honey-Boo-Boo loves h Uncle Poodle and he seems to have unconditional love from hisbrother and his family. This is the real America. Fat people with gay relatives. HoneysMom won a GLAAD Award and I actually cried when they introduced the gay brother into

the show because it was such a non-issue, it was just a part of this specific family. Likemost families or workplaces, someone is gay. They arent the beautiful people . . . or arethey? Uncle Poodle ( a six-year olds nickname for her adored uncle,) is not an actor whogets famous and THEN come out of the closet when safely employed or after their seriesis over. This show has done more for the fight for gay equality than anything ever shownin the History of of Television. I dont know why Levine has his panties in a knot. Maybe hethinks he stole his fashion look of the white t-shirt. Only his is a size too small. Theirsseem to fit comfortably. I dont hate Adam Levine, but I think this is a learning moment forhim. This is an average American family and I love them for that. Hope he puts somethought into this.
