What is 5S?

The 5S is a methodology that focuses onorganizational cleanliness and

standardization to improve profitability,efficiency and safety by reducing wasteof all types.

Origin: Japan, Toyota (5S – 5 Japanesewords beginning with “S” and translatedto English)
