A sunny outlookIts mild climate makes Jersey a year-round holiday destination. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, winter temperatures rarely dip below freezing and snow is almost unheard of. Spring comes early and in summer the average temperature is 20˚C, making Jersey the warmest place in the British Isles.

The Past, Ever PresentYou’ll find dramatic history in every corner that goes all the way back to Neolithic times. Jersey’s small size and peaceful air hide an eventful and dramatic history which is etched right into its very landscape. LocationJersey has at least 12 flights a day, with journey times of less than an hour from London airports.

Situated in the English Channel, 100 miles south of the United Kingdom and 14 miles off the French coast, Jersey is easily accessible from the UK and Europe. As well as flights from London, there are regular scheduled flights from over 25 regional airports and a number from Europe. In addition, a Fast Ferry service operates from Portsmouth, Poole and Weymouth in the UK, and from St Malo and Normandy in France. Visas for the UK cover travel to Jersey, with no need to re-apply as long as your dates are valid for the whole trip. UK Sterling is accepted, as well as most credit cards, and all currencies can be exchanged at the island’s many banks and bureau de change.
