What is ?It's an inverter multi system with single connecting refrigerant pipe, which is composed of one outdoor
unit and some indoor units in series, so it saves energy greatly and makes the installation easy.
This efficient piping system allows a flexible assembly so that it can be
connected to various types of indoor unit while it reduces the installation cost.
Ease of installation with size and routing of pipework compared to water based systems, and also with the advantage of
less space for the outdoor units and flexible internal unit requirements, means that there are has lower installation
fees and reduced running costs.

The LG Multi V system for R407C heat pump is a rapid response system in which up to 16 indoor units can operate on
the same refrigerant circuit in conjunction with a single outdoor unit. An inverter compressor enables the output of
the outdoor unit to be modulated in accordance with the cooling/heating demand of the zone which it controls.

Auto AddressingThe outdoor unit automatically confirms the status of each indoor unit without the use of cumbersome dip switches, by storing and sending
specific numbers to the EEPROM, a part within the indoor unit. With auto addressing, the installation time is greatly reduced

Auto RestartWhen there is a power cut during operation, the system will automatically restart from the same working condition when the power is
restored.
Sequential StartIf there are many outdoor units operating simultaneously, they are started sequentially to reduce power surge and increase safety.
Non-polarized WireUnlike the existing products where communication between the outdoor and indoor units is impossible if the polarization is different, you
can simply connect the outdoor and indoor units and the MULTI V algorithm will automatically find the correct polarity and enable

Cooling for Low Ambient TemperatureIt is an ideal system for superior air conditioning performance, and for places requiring year-around constant temperature. Based on
temperature and pressure sensor information, the MULTI V system can control the fan speed and expansion valve using hot gas bypass
technology. This control is available even when the outdoor temperature drops to minus 5 degrees Celsius. It is an ideal system for places
requiring year-around constant temperature, such as computer rooms.
Inverter air conditioning /heating system boasts a wide operational range which
is a result of applying highly advanced new technologies such as the inverter
scroll compressor and electronic expansion valve. The operation is possible up
to 43C of outdoor temperature when cooling and down to -20C of outdoor
temperature while heating.
Heating for Extremely Cold RegionWhen the outdoor temperature is minus 10 degrees Celsius, the MULTI V can achieve air discharge temperatures exceeding 40~47 degrees
Celsius. With its unique anti-freezing refrigerant circuit technology, the system is capable of heating without additional heating
equipment even in cold climates where temperatures go below minus 20 degrees Celsius.

Two Thermistor Control
The twin thermistor control regulates the difference between the indoor
temperature and the temperature of the air the product produces, as to
ensure uniform room temperature. This is accomplished by taking two
temperatures, one for room and one for the air being discharged. Then the
sensors readings are adjusted for optimum room temperature.

Operation SummaryWhere several products are linked, one specific control device can control a
specific number of products.
Specific Operation
- Connecting line is linked to each of the indoor equipments
forcommunication. A specific control device is connected to each of them and
this control device can control the same function.
- Group control function is enabled by cutting an optional jump wire in the
wired remote control. At this time, the main system will not respond in order
to prevent data collision.
- While executing group control command, use the random data (0-3minutes)
in the main body of indoor equipment for limiting starting current.
- Control device can control up to 16 indoor equipments.
Zero power consumption use in standby
mode by adopting SMPS(Swiching Mode Power Supply)
Power waste due to standby power
- Power is wasted if a plug is connected to an outlet even though
the appliance is turned off.
Development of super power-saving SMPS

The most pleasant air flow for the human body can be found within nature.
Countless data and verification resulted in the application of the new CHAOS
theory to LG Air conditioners.
The new CHAOS theory is a technology that revives more natural air by
controlling the angle and speed of the movement of the vane. Compared with
the frequency, the CHAOS air flow proved to be very similar to natural air
flow. The CHAOS swing also makes the room more evenly cooled to
stimulate a more natural environment which is most comfortable for the
human body.
