Bursaries The K. of C. Canon Luhovy Assembly Educational Foundation are once again providing financial
assistance to students for secondary and post-secondary education. Application forms are availa-
ble at the parish office. Deadline is September 30th. Please ask Fr. George for the applications.
Fellowship: due to the popularity of our Fellowship, we will continue to have it every Sunday, with the dif-
ferent organizations hosting. However, we would appreciate it if parishioners would offer to donate, bak-
ing's, fruit, veggies , etc. it seems that just a few people are for ever donating , it is becoming a burden to
these people. If you are willing to donate please contact the organization that is hosting that particular month
and offer your help. Thank you!
HELP NEEDED! Perogies begin on Sept 17 th & 18 th.
Our Perogy Project is our only source of extra money for the upkeep of our Parish. Without
this project we would not be able to meet our financial obligations. The volunteers that we have
are very dedicated and hard working, however we are all getting older and as some are unable to
help any longer we are not getting replacements. This is an appeal for recruitments. (Both men &
women) If you are able to give us a few hours every second week it would be greatly appreciated.
We need peelers on Thursday, and pinchers, ball makers, cookers e etc, on Fridays. No experi-
ence necessary , we will train you, give you a dozen perogies for your help and serve a delicious
lunch. Besides the fellowship is great! Please consider this request and help us out. Thank you!
Пласт це українська скаутська організація для дітей, молоді i дорослих яка
побудована на принципах міжнароднього скаутінґу з українським характером.
Пластова програма проводиться українською мовою. Програма Пласту включає
прогульки, табори, сходини (заняття), пластові навички, провідництво (лідерство),
спів, українські традиції та спорт. Пластові заняття для найменших “Пташат” (4-5
років) та молодших “новаків і новачок” (6-11 років) відбуваються суботами з 1:30 до 3:00.
Для старших “юнаків та юначок” заняття відбуваються понеділками, з 6:30-8:00.
Заохочуємо також і дорослих приєднатися до нашої пластової родини. Запрошуємо усіх
бажаючих на інформативну зустріч/реєстрацію у суботу, 19-ого вересня о годині 1:45 до
пластової домівки за адресою 623 Flora Avenue. За додатковими запитаннями прошу
