After total ban since 2009, in Korea asbestos issues are still active every year;

• about school buildings, around to remove asbestos building safely, over 80% are still asbestos containing.

• about subway and railway system all the country. • about the massive building demolitions for reconstruc-

tion projects everywhere. • about NOA issue, naturally occurred asbestos, occurred

by the mining and quarrying activities around closed asbestos mine areas.

• to fill up loopholes of relief system for environmental victims and insurance system for occupational victims

• legal campaigns against asbestos factory, government

1. 한국의 학교석면은 1970 년대부터 벽과 천장 등에 내화재로 주로 사용 asbestos used since 1970es for fireproof pur-pose, 79.8% of elementary, middle and high schools in 2012

2. 2012 년 전국 유･초･중 ･고 학교 20,363 개 중 16,242 개 79.8% 학교가 석면 사용

1. 서울시는 17 개 학원 건물에 대한 표본 조사결과 11 개 , 64% 건물에서 석면 검출 reconfirmed BANKO’s survey2. 학원석면 조사 후 서울시의 경우 1 만 3 천여개 학원 건물실태조사 중

full scale survey of 13,000 buildings of private education 3. 석면관리 안전교육 safety education for the building owners

and teachers 4. 연 1 회 이상 석면관리 실태 정기 점검 regular safety check 5. 조사 대상 면적 1,000 ㎡에서 430 ㎡이상 개선 방안6. 어린이 , 청소년 , 노약자 등 건강보호 필요계층 이용시설 우선관리

1. 서울메트로는 4 개 노선에 대한 석면제거 사업 중 .2. 석면뿜칠제 , 천장재 , 바닥재등에 석면이 남아 있다 .3. 특히 , 2 호선에 석면뿜칠제 사용중인 7 개 역의 석면비산이 가장 우려된다 . We made this issue hot again with specific information like [most dangerous subway line is Green line and most dangerous subway stations is City Hall because of sprayed asbestos.
