Department the intern will be working: Schools
Job Description1: The intern will work in groups with other trainees to develop and prepare
sessions for the students about the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Job Description2: The intern will deliver trainings on the MDGs to the students in order for
them to understand the importance of taking an active role in the pursuit of the MDGs.
Job Description3: The intern will design and implement projects that will help raise awareness
on the MDGs in society.
Job Description4: The intern will receive several professional trainings on facilitation,
creativity, etc in order to be able to deliver the project.
Job Description5: The intern has to participate and assist in all events that will be organized by
the host LC.
Job Description6: Participation in the biggest Global Village in Chios island ever. Interns have
to bring traditional food, drinks and materials (flags,pictures,videos,maps,leaflets,etc) of their
country.
Measurable results expected from the intern: Number and quality of the campaigns organized
in the schools. Quality of the trainings delivered. Assistance provided in organizing local
conferences and the final event. Final report of the work developed during the entire project.
Awareness around the MDG raised in all participants.

Preparation required from the intern before arrival: The trainee should study the materials
provided about the MGs and research on best case practices performed on his own country. Also,
he/she has to create a presentation of his/her country.

twice per day. Accommodation:The interns are going to stay in the hotel Agia Markella

About Make It Possible
AIESEC believes that young students in high schools and universities hold an unique
position to discover, learn and act on the Millenium Development Goals. As future leaders of
society the responsibility of positive change rests heavily on their shoulders. Millenium
Development Goals (MDGs) consist of 8 goals that aim at the solution of worldwide society
problems. By enabling and facilitating dynamic and informative spaces for discussion, sharing
about the MDGs and conducting interactive workshops interns at Make It Possible project will
encourage student's capacity for initiative. We believe that a dynamic and attractive international
learning environment is the best platform to present and discuss the MDGs with the students. The
interns will also deliver sessions, conferences and initiatives of public reach. In conformity with
AIESEC's mission, Make It Possible Project aims to produce an indirect impact in society,
offering young students the possibility to explore and develop their potential by providing them
with the tools and knowledge necessary to positively impact their communities. We seek as well
to raise awareness in the corporate and political sector, focusing on the importance of reaching
the MDGs. Interns will be working in multicultural environment - conducting classes in groups
with other project participants from 6 European countries - Italy, Portugal, Greece, Bulgaria,
Serbia and Poland.

Department the intern will be working: Junior high schools, high schools and higher education
institutions
Job Description1 At the beginning of the workshops, intern takes part in Preparation Conference
that provides him/her with the professional training skills as well as the knowledge about
Millenium Development Goals. Trainee will gain knowledge on how to conduct workshops at
schools and work with students and will develop autopresentation and training skills as well as
get information about workshops content.
Job Description2 From 20.02 till 06.04 trainees will be conducting workshops at Polish schools
and similar education institutions from Monday to Friday.
Job Description3 Topics contain Society Problems that are covered by Millenium Development
Goals. These cover knowledge and solutions design to issues

Job Description4 They develop interests of students in culture, world issues, social
responsibility and provide knowledge by interactive classes. Schedule will be provided before
start of the internship.
Job Description5 If needed trainee should prepare extra activities for students for example
games, competitions, sports activities. Trainee should take part in additional activities and events
included in the project.
Job Description6 EP should prepare to take part in Global Village. He should bring traditional
clothes, food, beverages, brochures, gadgets as well as presentation about the country and any
other useful materials.
Measurable results expected from the intern It is expected that after the project students will
be inspired and motivated to be socially aware and proactive as well as develop their language
skills. Apart from workshops students will take part in additional activities organized by the
trainee. Schools are satisfied with high quality of the workshops. All stakeholders know what is
AIESEC and have the positive image of the organization. Preparation required from the intern
before arrival Trainee is required to read preparation materials, prepare own materials for
workshops as well as prepare him/herself in terms of training and facilitating skills and additional
events like Global Village (information, traditional dances, food and beverages, games,
presentations).

Schools engaged in the project can be either in cities, towns or in villages.

About Make It Possible Warsaw Universities
Make it Possible project aims to create a unique environment for education in schools that
will enable all students to understand how they can contribute to achieve the Millennium
Development Goals. This will be achieved through international cooperation of 6 countries
(Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Poland, Portugal, Italy). We will also bring or send trainees in this
project. Trainees stay lasts 6 weeks, from mid-January to mid-March. During the Make it
Possible, participants will be able to meet trainees from different European countries taking part
in workshops, group work, debates and solving case studies. Volunteers will also assist them in
building a campaign related to the subject of leadership and the Millennium Development Goals.
They will be presented by them in their schools in their last week of work. In this way we intend
to reach out to other students in the schools. You also can become a volunteer in our project!
Recruitment starts in November! You will have a unique opportunity to go for 6 weeks to one of
the countries with which we cooperate. We are waiting for you!

About Make It Possible

Department the intern will be working Interns will be working in high schools
Job Description1 Trainees will work with groups of 8. And 10. Grades (four groups of eight.
And 6 classes of 10. º) on the MDGs. As happened last year, trainees will take up driving lessons
in Civics classes.
Job Description2 To raise students interest for the topics to be discussed by involving them in
their learning.
Job Description3 It will also be asked to collaborate with teachers responsible for the design
OPOMUN (Oporto Model United Nations), attended with a small group of 10th grade.

Measurable results expected from the intern The school expects the trainees to work to be an
asset to the extent that he/she sensitize our students to issues of utmost importance and will

relationship with our students, giving them the knowledge of the size of internationality, by
sharing personal experiences. It is expected that, at all times, there is availability, motivation for
the work you are developing, initiative, dynamism and responsibility.

have, the school expects native speakers.It is a condition for communication between students
and trainees will be another motivating factor for our students and not a cause of dispersion of the
real objectives of the Project. Is also expected to dominate the trainees at all the data related to
the MDGs and to bring materials and strategies have appealing and challenging for students aged
13 to 16 years.

About Make it Possible – NS
The United Nations Millennium Development Goals are eight goals that all UN member
states have agreed to try to achieve by the year 2015. The United Nations Millennium
Declaration commits world leaders to combat poverty, hunger, disease, illiteracy, environmental
degradation, and discrimination against women. The MDGs are derived from this Declaration,
and all have specific targets and indicators. „Make it Possible‟ is international AIESEC project,
aimed to promote Millenium Development Goals, and raise awareness amongst youth. Working
in cooperation with five more countries, project provides a fun interactive way to help them
understand, familiarise and reflect about the eight MDGs as well as inviting them to take action
through several activities provided.

Job Description1 Before workshops at schools each trainee is obliged to attend a preparation
seminar organized by hosting Local Committee 7th-8th January 2012. Trainee will
gain knowledge on how to conduct workshops at schools and work with students
and will develop autopresentation and training skills as well as get information
about workshops content. The expenses of seminar (approximately 20$) will be
covered by the trainee. Trainee should be prepared to take part in Global Village
during his stay. He/She should bring traditional clothes, food, beverages,
brochures, gadgets as well as presentation about the country and any other useful
materials.
Job Description2 From 9.01 till 17.02.2012 trainees in groups of 3 will be conducting workshops at
Polish schools for around 25 students from Monday to Friday. In each school
trainee will spend one week.
Job Description3 The topic of workshops is about developing interests of students - culture, world
issues, entrepreneurship, history, science etc.

Enter Your Future - national project organized by AIESEC in Poland, well-known and
very popular project in Poland. In previous editions more than 200 trainees from
different countries took part. In order to participate in the project excellent English
is required. Trainee should arrive with a valid medical insurance for the total period
of the internship. Trainee is obliged to arrive to Poland at least one day before the
