Lana is a little girl. She lives in a village by the jungle. She

likes to walk in the jungle and see her friends, the monkeys.

Lana 是個住森林裡中一個小村莊的小女生。她喜歡在森林裡漫步也喜歡和猴子聊天。

On hot days she swims in the river, and dives off the

waterfall. Lana swims with the hippos and the elephants.

在炎熱的夏天她喜歡在水裡游泳有時會從瀑布跳水。她喜歡和河馬跟大象一同游泳。

Today is a very hot day. There are no clouds in the sky. There is no cool wind. She gets her towel and swimming suit. She goes to the river and dives off the waterfall into the river.

今天非常嚴熱，沒有風也沒有雲。 Lama 拿著毛巾與泳衣來到河邊。噗通一聲！跳入水裡。

Lana sees a golden key at the bottom of the river. She picks

it up and takes the key home.

Lana 在河裡看到一隻黃金鑰匙。她撿了起來並帶回家。

It’s a key for a gate. But there are no gates in the village. Everyone lives in grass huts. So she goes to ask her friends. But all her friends don’t know the gate.

這是木門的鑰匙。可是森林中沒有木門，大家都住在草叢裡。於是 Lana 跑去問她的朋友。可是都沒人知道木門的事情。.

Finally comes the old elephant. The elephant tells Lana

there is one gate in the jungle and it’s to the lost city.

後來來了一隻大象。大象告訴 Lana 木門在叢林裡。這木門可以通往失落城市。

Lana looks for the lost city. She looks high and low, near and far, She looks all day and sleeps all night, but she can’t find the lost city. She looks for many days. But she can’t find the lost city.

Lana 到處尋找失落城市。她跑到高處、跑到低窪地方、附近、甚近很遠的地方。白天她拚命的找，晚上睡覺，找了好多天，可是就是找不著。

Lana is sad.

Lana 很難過。

Finally, Lana tells her friends about the golden key and the lost city. All of them start to find the lost city. The monkeys look in the trees. The hippos look in the river. But there is no result.

Lana 告訴她朋友有關金鑰匙的事情。所有的朋友一起找尋失落的城市。猴子跑到樹上尋找，河馬在水裡找，可是就是找不著。

Here comes the old elephant.

最後，大象終於來了。

They follow the elephant. The walk and walk and walk. They past the village, through the jungle, and into a cave. They come out of the cave, and see a big gate.

他們跟著大象一直走一直走。經過村莊越過叢林走入洞穴。從洞穴出來時看到一個大木門。

They see the gate and open with the golden key. They

see the lost city and find lots of treasure.

她們用金鑰匙打開木門。看到了失落的城市還有還有很多寶藏。

They all share the treasure, and go home happily.

她們分享所有的寶物開心的回家

Lana says it’s good to share.

Lana 說分享的感覺真好。
