What  we  do  and  how  we  do  it?  

•  Employment  Verifica%on  •  We  verify  employment  via  a  call  with  employer.  •  The  number  we  dial  will  be  independently  verified,  so  it  will  not  be  fraudulent  tenant’s  friend.  

•  Most  employers  do  this  rou%nely,  so  we  can  verify  employment  in  most  case.      

•  We  will  not  disclose  the  context  of  such  verifica%on  to  protect  tenant’s  privacy.    

•  Income  Verifica%on  •  We  verify  income  via  a  secured  online  banking  API.  •  We  will  ask  tenant  to  enter  online  banking  creden%als  on  our  site.  We  directly  transmit  creden%als  to  the  bank  with  a  bank-­‐level  128-­‐bit  encryp%on.  If  successful,  we  get  the  most  recent  bank  statement  instantly  and  deliver  it  to  you.  

•  Security  is  our  top  priority  in  this  process.  We  do  not  save  online  banking  creden%als.  Tenant  gives  us  a  read-­‐only  access  to  pull  a  bank  statement.  We  cannot  move  money.  

•  We  will  compare  tenant’s  self-­‐reported  work  income  to  the  income  on  the  bank  statement  and  let  you  know  any  discrepancy.
