Children of all ages (K-12) are talented and creative. I want to empower them.
This project will give them the opportunity to develop their creative potential and synthesize and apply knowledge and skills by creating an “invention” or “innovation” to solve a problem, just as a “real” inventor would
The problem—Design a Sneaker
ObjectivesParticipants will explore Nike website to:
a. read and evaluate sneaker descriptions.b. customize and create a sneaker.
Participants will develop one persuasive writing piece:
a. Letter to Nike selling your shoe ideab. Television commercial that will be shown during Super
Bowl 2011. Must have a slogan or a jinglec. Product description for Nike website or any shoe/clothing
