Puji syukur peneliti panjatkan atas kehadirat Allah SWT yang telah
melimpahkan eahmat, taufiq dan hidayah-Nya, sehingga peneliti dapat
menyelesaikan skripsi yang berjudul “Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Talking
Stick Berbantu Media Gambar Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas V
SDN 2 Panjunan Kudus.” Ini sebagai salah satu syarat Sarjana Pendidikan Guru
Sekolah Dasar di Universitas Muria Kudus.

This study aims to describe the application of the Talking Stick model to
improve student learning result in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor
domains, the skills of teachers in processing learning. This research is devoted to
the theme 1 of the Animal and Human Motion Organs on Social Studies and
Indonesian Subtheme 2 of learning 3 and 4 and Subthemes 3 of learning 3 and 4.
The Talking stick model is a group learning method with the help of a
stick. Groups that hold sticks must first answer questions from the teacher after
they learn the subject matter. This activity is repeated continuously until all
groups have a turn to answer questions from the teacher. Learning result are
changes in overall behavior including aspects of attitude, knowledge, skills. The
action hypothesis in this study is the use of the Talking Stick model can improve
the learning result of fifth grade students of SD 2 Panjunan Kudus.
This class action research will be conducted in grade V of SD 2 Panjunan
Kudus with 29 students as research subjects. This research will take place in two
cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation,
action, observation and reflection. The independent variable in this study is the
Talking Stick model, while the dependent variable is learning result. Data
collection techniques are carried out by interview, observation, documentation,
and test techniques. Data analysis used is an analysis of qualitative data and
quantitative data
Student learning result in the Social Studies cycle I research obtained an
average class of 71.37 with the percentage of students completing 65.51% while
in the Indonesian language content the average class 75.34 with the percentage of
students completing 62.06%. Increased in the cycle I Social Studies content
received an average class of 80.86 with the percentage of students completing
89.65% while in the Indonesian language load the average class was 83.62 with
the percentage of students completing 86.20%. The skills of the cycle I teacher
averaged 59.33% and increased in the cycle II with an average of 80.66%
Based on the results of classroom action research it can be concluded that
the application of the Talking Stick learning model can improve the learning

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Talking
Stick terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif, ranah afektif
dan ranah psikomotorik, keterampilan guru dalam mengolah pembelajaran.
Penelitian ini dikhususkan pada Tema 1 Organ Gerak Hewan dan Manusia muatan
IPS dan Bahasa Indonesia Subtema 2 pembelajaran 3 dan 4 serta Subtema 3
pembelajaran 3 dan 4.
Model Talking stick merupakan metode pembelajaran kelompok dengan
bantuan tongkat. Kelompok yang memegang tongkat terlebih dahulu wajib
menjawab pertanyaan dari guru setelah mereka mempelajari materi pokoknya.
Kegiatan ini diulang terus–menerus sampai semua kelompok mendapat giliran
untuk menjawab pertanyaan dari guru. Hasil belajar adalah perubahan perilaku
secara keseluruhan meliputi aspek sikap, pengetahuan, keterampilan. Hipotesis
tindakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model Talking Stick dapat
meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD 2 Panjunan Kudus.
Penilitian tindakan kelas ini akan dilaksanakan dikelas V SD 2 Panjunan
Kudus dengan subjek penelitian 29 siswa. Penelitian ini akan berlangsung dalam
dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan,
tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model
Talking Stick, sedangkan variabel terikatnya yaitu hasil belajar. Teknik
pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi,
dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan merupakan analisis data kualitatif dan data
kuantitatif.
Hasil belajar siswa pada penelitian siklus I muatan IPS memperoleh rata-
rata kelas 71,37 dengan persentase siswa tuntas65,51% sedangakan pada muatan
Bahasa Indonesia memperoleh rata-rata kelas 75,34 dengan persentase siswa
tuntas 62,06%. Meningkat pada siklus II muatan IPS memperoleh rata-rata kelas
80,86 dengan persentase siswa tuntas 89,65% sedangkan pada muatan Bahasa
Indonesia memperoleh rata-rata kelas 83,62 dengan persentase siswa tuntas
86,20%. Ketrampilan guru siklus I rata-rata 59,33% dan meningkat pada siklus II
dengan rata-rata80,66%
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas dapat ditarik kesimpulan
bahawa penerapan model pembelajaran Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan hasil
belajar siswa kelas V SDN 2 Panjunan tema 1 organ gerak hewan dan manusia
