Green tea has a lighter, subtler taste thanoolong or black tea. It has a negligibleamount of caffeine, and a high concentrationof antioxidants.

Oolong tea has properties in between greenand black tea. It has less caffeine than blacktea.

Rooibos is a South African herb that can bemade into a caffeine-free herbal tea. Becauseit does not come from the Camellia sinensisplant, it is not considered a true tea.

Herbal tea is made from herbs, fruits, seeds,or roots stepped in hot water. Because itdoes not come from the Camellia senensisplant, it is not considered a true tea.

Teas have health-benefitting compounds, but they won’tprevent health problems on their own. Think of tea as a
beverage to enjoy, in addition to a proper diet and exercise.
