Without bothering to adapt the house to some extent to the traditional houses on the Prins Hendriklaan, we simply attached it to the adjacent house. It was the best thing we could doto make it stand out in contrast as much as possible. Understandably, it was very hard to square this with the local building code. Thats why, on the ground floor, the house presents a rather traditional layout, i.e., with fixed walls
