1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This section summarises the regulations that must always be followed when working with the
front pump. However, these regulations do not exempt the driver from statutory and other
national regulations regarding traffic safety and occupational health and safety. Safety
regulations that apply to different types of working sites and existing road traffic laws must
always be observed. Tractor safety regulations accepted by the Finnish occupational safety
and health administration have already been taken into account in the tractors' design.
The following section describes general safety precautions that must be observed regarding
the use of the front pump.
IMPORTANT
Do not use the front pump for anything other than its intended purpose. Please read this manual carefully before using the implement.
IMPORTANT
Before driving, make sure that all movements and functions work correctly.
IMPORTANT
Advise other users on the use of the implement and ask them to read the manual.
DANGER
Do not operate a faulty implement.
DANGER
Remember to use the rotary beacon while working.

4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before use, make sure that the implement is properly attached
and locked to the tractor.
Perform a test drive to ensure that the device is functioning.
If the hydraulic system is new or recently repaired, be particularly careful as air in the
system can cause sudden movements.
When using the implement, make sure that the danger zone is visible at all times
and ensure that no-one enters the zone.
When disconnecting the implement, always cover the
quick-couplers.
If the implement is stored in an outdoor storage, park it on a level surface to facilitate
connecting. If necessary, use heavy planks under the stands.
5. MAINTENANCE
Correct maintenance at the appropriate time is essential for the front pump to
operate reliably. Maintenance costs are small compared with any repair costs
resulting from lack of maintenance. The most important measures are those that you
carry out yourself; these include lubrication and various checks and adjustments.
