Puji syukur kepada Allah SWT, Tuhan Yang Maha Esa yang telah
melimpahkan rahmat dan barokah-Nya sehingga penulis dapat menyelesaikan
skripsi dengan judul “ ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI DOUBLE PASSIVE
REPEATER TERHADAP NILAI AVAILABILITY LINK TRANSMISI
WILAYAH BOGOR MENGGUNAKAN PATHLOSS 5.0 ”. Laporan Skripsi
ini disusun untuk memenuhi salah satu syarat dalam memperoleh gelar Sarjana
Telekomunikasi pada Program Studi S1 Teknik Telekomunikasi Sekolah
Tinggi Teknologi Telematika Telematika Telkom Purwokerto.
Dalam melakukan penyusunan Laporan Skripsi ini penulis telah

1 ABSTRAKSI
Pada perencanaan jaringan microwave harus melihat mekanisme perambatan
dasar gelombang radio microwave yaitu Line of sight. Namun pada
kenyataanya terdapat beberapa penghalang yang tidak dapat dihindari seperti
pegunungan atau gedung maka dibutuhkan repeater pada hop microwave
tersebut. Repeater yang digunakan yaitu passive repeater untuk link microwave
tersebut. Passive Repeater digunakan untuk mengulang sinyal radio dengan
mengubah arah pancaran radio. Jika jarak antar BTS terlalu jauh dan masih
terdapat penghalang digunakan double passive repeater. Kemudian jika sudah
ditambahkan dengan double passive repeater maka nilai Availability yang
diperoleh akan cenderung lebih baik. Untuk mendukung teknologi selular
tersebut dibutuhkan perancangan jaringan microwave yang menggunakan
Pathloss 5.0 dan untuk menjaga komunikasi antar BTS tetap dalam perfomansi
terbaik maka di lakukan perencanaan dan analisis link budget. Digunakan nilai
availability sebagai tolak ukur ketetapan untuk melihat kehandalan sistem
perancangan microwave. Pada analisa dilakukan perbandingan yaitu antara
perancangan sebelum menggunakan Passive Repeater nilai availability
dihasilkan sebesar 0% karena dalam kondisi non line of sight. Pada
perancangan menggunakan Passive Repeater nilai availability yang dihasilkan
sebesar 49,94957% dan pada perancangan Double Passive Repeater nilai
availability yang dihasilkan sebesar 99,95429%. Dari pembahasan tersebut
dapat disimpulan pada implementasi Double Passive Repeater ini berperan
penting untuk mendapatkan hasil yang optimal dalam perancangan jaringan
microwave ini.

2 ABSTRACT
In microwave network planning should see the basic microwave propagation
mechanism of microwave radio that is Line of sight. But in fact there are some
inevitable barriers such as mountains or buildings then it takes a repeater on
the microwave hop. The repeater used is a passive repeater for the microwave
link. Passive Repeater is used to repeat radio signals by changing the direction
of the radio beam. If the distance between BTS is too far and there is still a
barrier used double passive repeater. Then if it is added with double passive
repeater then the Availability value will tend to be better. To support the
cellular technology is required microwave network design using Pathloss 5.0
and to keep communication between BTS remains in the best perfomansi then
do the planning and link budget analysis. Used value availability as a
benchmark of accuracy to see the reliability of microwave design system. In the
comparison analysis is made between the design before using Passive Repeater
availability value is 0% because in the condition of non line of sight. In
designing using Passive Repeater, the availability value is 49.94957% and the
design of Double Passive Repeater is 99.95429%. From the discussion can be
concluded on the implementation of Double Passive Repeater is an important
role to obtain optimal results in the design of this microwave network.
