Future show : OGA 2017 (The 16th Asian Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Engineering Exhibition) 11 - 13 July 2017, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
The show was opened by Tan Sri Sidek Hassan, Chairman of PETRONAS on the 2nd June 2015 - the first day of show. He also spent some time to tour the 10 exhibition halls in the exhibition venue, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and the additional hall in Mandarin Oriental Ballroom. OGA 2015 was also visited by the new President and CEO of PETRONAS, Datuk Wan Zulkeflee Wan Hassan on the second day of show. MATRADE for the first time organised an Incoming Buying Mission (IBM) programme in conjunction with the event. It took place from 2 to 3 June 2015 at a dedicated Business Matching area within the exhibition halls. The IBM is a business matching programme which consisted of one-on-one business meetings between Malaysian Oil & Gas manufacturers and service providers with foreign companies. It served as an excellent business platform for companies to meet the right people and discuss specific requirements. The 17 hosted buyers companies included senior managers from Korea, Myanmmar, Pakistan and Singapore. Also held alongside OGA 2015 was the 5th Annual HSE Excellence Forum in Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals, specially tailored to meet the needs of all Health and Safety professionals. The conference was organised by the established conference organiser, Fleming Gulf Conferences. The two-day conference that took place at Mandarin Oriental Hotel was followed by interactive workshops on currents challenges in HSE and in-depth case studies outlining HSE development models and HSE audits by Bumi Armada, Reliance and Pertamina.
*This figure includes 23,414 visitors and 7471 exhibitors who attended the show.
