لربنا المهیمن القهاروشبهة الملحد في اإلنكار
The doubt of the Atheist for the denial of our Lord, the Watcher over His creatures, the Irresistible
وذا دلیل یوجب النكراناأال یراه بادیا عیانا
[Is]: Should He (Allah) not be manifest, apparent? That is the evidence that necessitates our denial
هناك رب في الوجود یثبت لو كان حقا ما ادعاه المثبت
If it were true He would not require one who affirms [Saying]: “That there is a Lord in existence that he affirms”
صا سواهلكان شیئا بادیا نراه كما نرى مشخ
However we can see something that is apparent Just like we can see another person [in front of us]
نراه أو نلمسه لمسا وذيونحن ال نؤمن إال بالذي
We do not believe except in that which We see and what we can touch
واهیة ثم إلیك نقضها حجتهم كما ترى من أصله
Their argument as you see from its origin Is feeble and then it will be rejected upon you
لت بالفسادوقولنا اسمع یا أخا اإللحاد هدم الذي أص
We say: listen O brother of atheism Destroyed is what you have established with corruption
لته وأنكر العقل الذي أعطیتهإن قال شخص بالذي أص

If a person said that which you have established Then he would deny the intellect he was given
في الكهرباء حیث هذا ال یرى والروح والنفس وتیارا سرى
And the soul, the mind, and the electric current which runs In the electricity since these things cannot be seen
أو ناقضا ومعلنا إبطالهأكنت في هذا موافقا له
Are you in agreement to this?
Or one who is opposed to it openly proclaiming its falsehood?
كي ال تكون ناقضا تأصیالأو حائدا ملتمسا تأویل
Or one who turns away holding fast to an interpretation So as not to contradict the foundation?
بما شهرت من سالح تهزم وكل هذا أنت فیه ملزم
All of this you are required [to accept] Due to what you made apparent of a weapon which is destroyed
فأنت مجنون وقد خسئتافإن تكن عقلك قد أنكرت
If you deny your intellect Then you are insane and have surely lost
من أمره لزمك اإلقرار فيوإن كنت أقررت بالذي خفي
And if you affirm that which is hidden From his (a person’s) affair, then it is necessary that you also affirm
وبارئ مهیمن توابوجود رب خالق وهاب
The existence of the Lord, the Creator, the Bestower, The Originator, Watcher over His creatures, One Who accepts repentance
وكان من آثاره األفكاروإن تقل عقلي له آثار

If you say my intellect has signs And from its signs are thoughts
وجودها یعرف بالصفاتكذاك روحي إذ بها حیاتي
Likewise my soul, since with it is my life Its presence is known by its characteristics
على الذي غاب بما شهدتاقلنا إذا كنت قد استدللتا
We say: if you use as evidence For that which is hidden, that which you witness
ألنه دل على المؤثرأثبته لما له من أثر
Then you affirm it due to what it has from signs This is because it indicates one who influences [it]
من الذي أثبته یا أبكمقلنا فآثار اإلله أعظم
We say: The signs of the Deity are greater Than that which you affirmed O dumb/mute one
وما حواه العقل من أفكارهروحك یا مسكین من آثاره
Your soul, O poor one, is from its signs And what the intellect contains in terms of thoughts
وتربة وشجر والماءواألرض والسماء والهواء
And the earth, the heavens, and the air And the soil ,the trees, and the water
والنار والنور كذا الظالموالطیر والوحوش واألنعام
And the birds, the wild beasts, and the cattle And the fire, the light, and likewise the darkness
وقمر والشمس واألفالكوالجن والناس كذا األمالك

And the Jinn, the humans, and likewise the Kings And the moon, the sun, and the plants
وما حوته األرض من دیدانوما حواه البحر من حیتان
What the ocean contains from fish And what the earth contains of worms
وما حوت من ثمر أكماموما حوت من نطف أرحام
And what the womb contains of mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge And what sheaths contain of fruit
وحملته المزن من ماء المطروما حواه قلم وما سطر
And what the pen contains and what it wrote And what the clouds carry from rain water
وما تواریه من األمواتواألرض ما تخرج من نبات
And the earth and what it brings forth of vegetation And what is buried in it of the deceased
أوجدها موجدها الجباروهذه وغیرها آثار
This and other than it are signs Which were created by the One who created them, the Compeller
والرزق یعطي لمن ابتغاهوكلها أوجدها اإلله
All of them were created by the Deity And provision is provided to the one who searches after it
أن لهذا الكون ربا مبدعاألیس في هذا دلیال مقنعا
Is there not in this a convincing evidence That this universe has a Lord, a Fashioner
بشبهة یردها المعقول هناك الذ الملحد المخذول

There the humiliated atheist will take shelter With a doubt refuted by a rational person
وفریة كاذبة أسموجةوعلة علیلة ممجوجة
[His] reason is sickly and worn out
And a lying fabrication
وهي التي أتت به جمیعهفقال ذا مصدره الطبیعة
He says that it’s [the creation’s] origin is nature And it is what produced all of it [i.e. the creation]
بكل ما في الكون هذا أتتقلنا فصف لنا الطبیعة التي
So we say: describe to us this nature which
Brought all of what is this universe [according to you]
حكیمة مریدة قوالهسمیعة بصیرة فعالة
[Is it] All-Hearing, All-Seeing, able to do whatever it wishes? All-Wise, possessing a will, and able to speak?
رازقة لمن على البسیطةآمرة ناهیة محیطة
Commanding, prohibiting, All-encompassing?
Providing for the one who is on earth?
أم قد خلت من كل هذا أجمعهخالقة عالمة مخترعة
A Creator, All-Knowing, producing? Or is it free from all of these attributes which I combined?
فأنت أقررت ما منه تفرفإن تقل موصوفة بما ذكر
If you say it [nature] is described with what was mentioned
Then you have affirmed and do not flee from

دأن لهذا الكون ربا یعبد وخالقا مهیمنا یوح
[The fact] that this universe has a Lord who is worshipped Our Creator, the Watcher over His creatures, who is singled out
ونحن سمیناه ربنا الجلیلسمیته طبیعة بال دلیل
You call it Nature without evidence
We call Him our Lord, the Most Noble
ولزم الوفاق في البقیهفانحصر الخالف في اإلسمیه
So the differing is restricted to names And an agreement in the remaining issues is necessary
وما لها من صفة معروفةوإن تقل لیست بذا موصوفة
If you say: it is not with this description
And it does not have a characteristic that is known
مقلنا فما لذت بغیر العدم وما تعلقت سوى التوه
We say: you have not sought shelter except in nothingness And you have not connected to [anything] other [than] false assumption
وما على قول سواه اعتمدقال فهذا الكون صدفة وجد
He says: this universe is a coincidence that has been discovered
And there is no other statement besides it that is reliable
قائله أوغل في الضاللقلنا فذا من أبعد المحال
We say: this is most distant impossibility The one who says it is in utmost misguidance
أو زرعت أرض بغیر كلفةفهل بني بیت بمحض الصدفة
Is a house built purely from chance? Or a land cultivated without a cost

أو حلیة كانت بال سباكةهل وجد الثوب بال حیاكه
Is a garment found without knitting?
Or jewelry without crafting?
أو حكمة بال حكیم ضالعهل صنعة كانت بغیر صانع
Is there a creation without a Creator? Or wisdom without a Wise-One who is involved?
وأثر دل على المسیربعرة دلت على البعیر
Camel feces indicates the camel
And a footstep indicates the traveller
وبصمة دلت على البنانوطلل دل على البنیان
[Fallen] debris indicates the building And a fingerprint indicates the finger
شيء بال مؤثر فیه وجدوكل ذا وغیره ما إن وجد
All of this and other than it. There would not exist
Anything without the existence of one who influences it (the Creator)
وأنطق اإلنسان بالكالممن صور النطفة في األرحام
Who forms the male and female sexual discharge in the wombs? And provided mankind with speech?
سواه في خلق عظیم متقنأمن بشكل اآلدمي قد عني
Who is the one who had concern with the form of humans
Besides Him? In creation, great and perfect
لكي یكون مدركا لما نظرإذ جعل الوجه بأعلى والبصر
If He made his face at the highest [point of his body] and his eyesight

In order for him to be one who comprehends, he would not be able to see
ما نظرت غیر محل القدمینوإن تكن قد جعلت في الركبتین
If He made his face in his knees It would not see other than the place of the two feet
عن شعر لحكمة ال تزدرىثم اللسان والشفاه قد عرى
Then the tongue and lips are both bare Of hair due to a wisdom, do not look down upon it
سه بحكمة للعین قد ألبسهسل شعر األجفان من قو
Ask about the hair of the eyelids, who made them curved Due to a wisdom for the eye which He adorned them with?
لكي یقویها به أمدهاوكل إصبع بظفر شدها
And every finger is fastened with a nail In order to strengthen them, He provided them
ومخرجا في األسفل للنبذ قدقد جعل المدخل في أعلى الجسد
He made an entrance in the highest point of the body And an exit in the lowest point of the body
یهدي إلى اإلیمان ذا العقل األریبهیئه ربي بتفصیل عجیب
My Lord has formed man in amazing detail Which leads towards the Imaan for the one possessing sharp intellect
بقوة الهضم ومص الفائدةوبین ذین معدة مزودة
Between these two passages is the stomach, furnished With the strength of digestion and extracting the benefits
في مسلك منزلق إلى الدبرفالمستحیل في معي ینحدر

So the waste in my stomach descends In the slippery passage towards the back
عنه بعیدا سالما من رجسهقد فصل الجسم له لیلقه
He divided the body for him to cast Him far and safely from his own filth
لكبد یعمل في تحویلهأما الغذا قد أمرت بصرفه
As for the nutrients, He ordered for it to be moved To the liver which works to transfer it
للقلب وهو بعد ذاك ینقلهإلى دم ومن هناك یرسله
To the blood and from there He sends it To the heart and after that it is transferred
إلى الشرایین لنقل التغذیةمن بعد تكریر وبعد التصفیة
After refining and after purification Towards the arteries in order to transfer the nutrition
بسرعة في دورة الدماءلنقلها فیها إلى األعضاء
In order to transfer it through the arteries to the limbs With speed through the blood circulation
بحسب المطلوب للبرایاهناك تستحیل في الخالیا
There it is forwarded in the cells In accordance to what the creation requires
أم كان تدبیر حكیم قد عرفهل كان ذا الترتیب إنتاج الصدف
Does that which possesses order emerge from chance? Or is the organization itself wise and knowing?
أراده خلیفة في األرض ذيكل الذي یصلح للخلق الذي

Everything that is suitable for the creation for the one He (Allah) wanted to be the successor on the earth
بالمستوى الالئق عند من عقلواألرض في البعد عن الشمس جعل
The earth’s distance from the sun has been made To be at a befitting degree according to one who has intellect
لم یستطع حي علیها من ثوىفإن تكن أبعد من ذا المستوى
If it was further from that degree Then life would not be possible for the one who settles
لذبلت أشجارها واحترقتلشدة البرد ولو قد قربت
Due to the severity of cold. If the earth was drawn nearer Then its trees would wither and go on fire
صاحبه في هیئة ال تخلفواللیل والنهار كل یخلف
The night and day - each of them replaces Its companion in a manner which does not delay
كان النهارسابقا قد أضرمافاللیل یألتي لیهدئ حر ما
The night comes to cool any heat While the daytime before it [brought] some harm
برودة اللیل وفیه اعتدلتوبالنهار هكذا قد هدأت
And the daytime likewise settles The cold night and in it is moderation
لواله لم یوجد بأرض ساكناوباختالف أنتجت توازنا
In their alternation there is balance And without it there would not be on the earth a residence
كي یعلموا عبادة الدیانفي النیرین حكمة الحسبان

In the sun and moon, there is a calculated wisdom So they (the creation) may know [when] to worship ad-Dayyan
في زرعهم والدین فافهم واضبطهثم بها مصالح مرتبطة
Then they have benefits which are attached In regards to their agriculture and debt, so understand and ascertain it
أودعها الدیان للعضاتوكم ترى في الكون من آیات
How many signs in the universe do you see Which ad-Dayyan established for admonishment
من لم یر الحق فقلبه عميال كنما الملحد عنها قد عمي
However the atheist is blinded from them Whoever does not see truth with his heart is blind
وفهم المقصود من عظاتهفانتبه المسكین من سباته
So the poor one becomes alert from his slumber And understands the intent from his admonishment
سبع سموات وخلقا أتقناوقال حقا إن ربي من بنا
He says truthfully: “Verily my Lord is the one who built The seven heavens and perfected the creation
ألنه لكل شيء أوجدافهو الذي من حقه أن یعبدا
So it is from His right that He is worshipped Because He created everything”
