Paris, China
This, I like it so much. A Paris replica in themiddle of nowhere in China.
Most of the report describe the place as eerie, odd, bad, wrong (and whatever negative adjectiveyou can think of).
Not understanding that it is a sublime p iece ofpoetry by contemporary Chinese culture.
I wish I was there

Qiyun Deng's Graft
Here the description on the website:
Graft is a ser ies of disposable tableware made ofbioplasti c PLA revealing its sources mat erials - the
plants.
Texture and form in nature autonomously existwith a function that we can borrow to serve thepurpose of artificial objects. A celery stem for
example, acts as handle for the fork; a petal ofartichoke then becomes the bowl of spoon.
By waking both visual and haptic sensation itbrings along a question: Will you throw they away
easily?

Rymdkapsel
After several years of playing obsessively
"Civilization", I spent the last couple of monthsplaying "Dots".
But then, my friend d on't challenge me enough, hence, once i reached a fantastic (at least for me)
659, I didn't have enough motivation to keepplaying.
Then, this morning, I've found: "Rymdkapsel" and Iam back to play in a very happy mood
http://rymdkapsel.com/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rymdkapsel
It's a great mix. Imagine Asteroids, Tetris and Sims
all the once.
"I believe in the social contract; therefore, Iteach. I believe that the university is one of thelast places that protects and preserves freedom;th erefore, teaching is also a socio political act, among other things".

In mathematics, a Voronoi diagram is a way ofdividing space into a number of regions. A set ofpoints (called seeds, sites, or generators) isspecified beforehand and for each seed there will
be a corresponding region consisting of all pointscloser to that seed than to any other.

This Histomap, created by John B. Sparks, wasfirst printed by Rand McNally in 1931.
This giant, ambitious chart fit neatly with a trendin nonfiction book publishing of the 1920s and1930s: the outline, in which large subjects (thehistory of the world! every school of philosophy!all of modern physics!) were distilled into a formcomprehensible to the most uneducated layman.
The 5-foot-long Histomap was sold for $1 andfolded into a green cover, which featuredendorsements from historians and reviewers.
