#3 Setting unrealistic deadlinesFind out the reason. Why do they need it ASAP?
#4 Questioning your ratesLearn the difference between “I can’t afford you” and “You cost too much”
#5 They fired their last designerGet the full story! Contact the other designer. Are you expected to continue their work?
#6 You don’t “get it” (their project) If the client can't convey their goals or what they are looking for, the project will be stressful.
#7 The disappearing client trickLittle to no communication for weeks at a time is a bad sign!
#8 Asks for concept designs before payThey don’t intend to pay the “fee” for those or any other spec work you do for them.
#9 Disorganized from the startIf they have trouble now, what will the client be like when deadlines are due?
#10 Trust your gut instinctsIf something doesn’t feel right, get out of there!
