YTL –Supply Chain Management: The Young Technical leaders Program is an exciting opportunity for smart and dedicated future global operations leaders. The engagement for YTLs will be initiated through a series of stints for 8-12 weeks each in SCM to help develop a thorough understanding of the function. At the end of the 1 year training program, YTLs can take on roles in SCM in sourcing, operations, process improvement and materials management. More than just ‘supply chain’ We do all the traditional supply chain activities like inventory planning, warehousing, logistics etc. but that is not where the line ends. We are commercial model innovators – our contracts have pioneered several win-win models with suppliers which have been widely copied (best form of flattery!) like minutes and mbps factory. We manage more than 1.5 lakh sites, our operations span 19 countries, and suppliers are spread across the globe from China to Europe to the US. “100 Crore” roles The Airtel supply chain manages spend higher than the GDP of Niger, Monaco, Malawi and 50 other countries (>600000000000 INR). Becoming a sourcing lead after the YL stint will make you responsible for categories with spend value, not in crores, but in 100s of crores. “Pace-setters” At the heart of all supply chain processes, these experts are tasked with generating velocity. As a global process lead after the YL stint you will be responsible to design processes to ensure all supply chain activities happen faster, smoother and more accurate than yesterday. “Movers and savers” Annually, we receive more than 1 lakh shipments from more than 20K suppliers moving across to more than 1.5 lakh sites. As a materials management lead, you will be responsible to ensure that the right material (from screws, nuts bolts to huge antennae) reaches the right place at the right time to save on inventory and logistics cost. Location: Anywhere across Airtel locations in South Asia and Africa.

YTL –Supply Chain Management:

The Young Technical leaders Program is an exciting opportunity for smart and dedicated future global operations leaders.

The engagement for YTLs will be initiated through a series of stints for 8-12 weeks each in SCM to help develop a thorough understanding of the function.

At the end of the 1 year training program, YTLs can take on roles in SCM in sourcing, operations, process improvement and materials management.

More than just ‘supply chain’

We do all the traditional supply chain activities like inventory planning, warehousing, logistics etc. but that is not where the line ends.

“100 Crore” roles

The Airtel supply chain manages spend higher than the GDP of Niger, Monaco, Malawi and 50 other countries (>600000000000 INR). Becoming a sourcing lead after the YL stint will make you responsible for categories with spend value, not in crores, but in 100s of crores.

“Pace-setters”

At the heart of all supply chain processes, these experts are tasked with generating velocity. As a global process lead after the YL stint you will be responsible to design processes to ensure all supply chain activities happen faster, smoother and more accurate than yesterday.

“Movers and savers”

Annually, we receive more than 1 lakh shipments from more than 20K suppliers moving across to more than 1.5 lakh sites. As a materials management lead, you will be responsible to ensure that the right material (from screws, nuts bolts to huge antennae) reaches the right place at the right time to save on inventory and logistics cost.

• Location: Anywhere across Airtel locations in South Asia and Africa.
