You can place a bid for any of the items in this catalogue using any one of the following four 

methods: 

 

1. In person at the auction, which will be held on Saturday 21st May 2016 in Llangollen 

Town Hall as part of the Cheese, Wine & Musical Crackers fundraising evening. The event 

starts at 7.30pm. Admittance is by ticket only and these can be purchased for £12.00 

from the Eisteddfod Office on 01978 862001 or from Llangollen Tourist Information 

Centre. 

 

2. Via telephone to the Eisteddfod Office: 01978 862001

If you are placing a bid by phone, e‐mail or post, please ensure you give the following 

details: 

 

o Name o Address  o Telephone Number o E‐mail address o Lot number you wish to bid for, including a short description o Your starting bid and maximum bid in Pounds Sterling 

 

All bids must be received by latest 5pm on Wednesday 18th May in order to be considered. 

Bids arriving any later than this will not be valid.  

 

All bids received via phone, e‐mail or post will be treated as strictly confidential.

On the evening of the event, a nominated volunteer from the Eisteddfod organisation will 

place bids on behalf of those who have submitted bids by phone, e‐mail or post up to the 

maximum made in each case.  

 

If your bid is successful, the bidder will be contacted as soon as possible following the event 

to inform them and to arrange for payment and collection of the item.  

 

It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to arrange for collection of the item they have 

won, either in person from the Eisteddfod Office, or via registered post or courier collection. 

Any postage and packaging costs will be met by the successful bidder.  

 

Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod accepts no responsibility for items which are lost 

or damaged in transit.
