1 to 1 Sponsorship Programme supports orphans and needychildren through the provision of education, healthcare, foodand clothing vital for their development.

Te programme sponsors poor and destitute orphans andneedy children in Zanzibar which Trough this programmechildrens school fees and Madrasah are paid and books anduniforms are provided, giving children access to education andopportunities for the future. Financial support is also given tohelp children with travel to and from school and in some casesbicycles are provided. Te programme makes a long term com-mitment to the education and welfare of children.

How much will this cost?

It cost just 40 a month to sponsor a needy orphan.You can either pay a lump sum of 480 for 1 year of sponsorshipor pay 40 a month through direct debit.

Where will your money go?

Te sponsorship money is paid to the trusted guardian of theorphan in a very transparent manner. A meeting with the or-phans guardian is held every three months to discuss education,performance and general well-being of the orphan.

What do you get in return?

Upon the commencement of sponsorship you will receive adetailed profile of the orphan with complete details about theorphan, his family, education and Picture of the orphan. Tenat the end of every academic year you will receive a school per-formance report andnew pictures. You can also communicatewith the orphan in writing and would also have the opportunityto visit should you wish to.
