Wuzhen is included as a world-heritage listed site and is the top-ten suggested

tour sites in China. Wuzhen has been gradually growing in fame across China

and the world gradually for the last decade as having a reputation for excellent

preservation of cultural relics and amazing scenery.

烏鎮被列入世界遺產名錄，也是中國十大旅遊景點之一。過去十年來，烏鎮在全國乃至世界逐漸成名，享譽於文物古蹟，風景秀麗。

Wuzhen is one the six major towns south of the Yangtze River where customs

from ancient China still exist and are still practiced. The town was originally

designed by using ancient planning methods that rest the center of the town

perfectly on the axis of east, west, south and north, the streets are also divided

up into almost perfect 'criss-cross' patterns. Here ancient Ming dwelling sit

encroaching on each side of the canal that passes through the city.

烏鎮是江南六大古鎮之一，中國古代風俗習慣依然存在，至今仍在實行。這個小鎮的設計是用原來古老的規劃方法，小鎮中心部分完美地座落在東，西，南和北三個軸心上，街道幾乎也成完美的“十字形”格局。古代明朝的居屋，坐落在穿越小鎮運河的兩側。

Best Time for Visiting 最佳的參觀時間The most picturesque time of year is spring and autumn. The best time of day to

be in Wuzhen is morning and dusk: a gentle fog covers the canals that run

through the town in the morning, as if one has wandered into a blissful dream.

一年中最美麗的時期是春季和秋季。每一天烏鎮的最棒時間是清晨和黃昏，晨霧籠罩著貫穿小鎮的運河，有如走入一個幸福的夢鄉。

烏鎮這種濱水而建的房子稱為「水閣」，

The Xizha Street (3 to 5 meters wide) lined with double-story dwellings with

businesses opening onto the street and with residences on the upper stories.

書院坐北朝南，為半迴廊二層樓硬山式的古建築。

書院正門口的石牌坊，上頭題著「六朝遺勝」，龍鳳板上寫著「梁昭明太子同沈尚書讀書處」，記錄著朝梁昭明太子蕭統幼年時在烏鎮苦讀的時光，也是昭明書院名稱之由來。

Tongji Bridge and Renji Bridge adjacent to a right angle. No matter from which bridge, you can see the

another bridge from the bridge hole, so called "Bridge in Bridge."

通濟橋和仁濟橋相鄰成直角，不管在哪一座橋邊，都可以從橋洞裡看到另一座橋，因此稱之謂「橋裡橋」。

The 7 layers White Lotus Tower is the

tallest building in the entire town. The

original pagoda was built between

1102-1106 but the current pagoda is a

recreation.

白蓮塔七級的白蓮塔是全鎮最高的建築。原來的寶塔建於 1102-1106 年間，但現在的寶塔是重建的。

The combo ticket with Xizha and Dongzha is only

valid for 1 day, it is almost impossible to view all

of the two towns within one day.

西柵和東柵的聯票只限1日有效，但幾乎不可能在一天之內同時看完西柵和東柵。

Wuzhen Xizha is worth visiting if you want to an

attraction rich and highly photogenic location. If

you don't like crowds, it's worth avoiding this

location. But the water towns are very quiet

during winter specifically on weekdays.

如果你想去一個很有吸引力又非常上鏡頭的地方，烏鎮西扎值得一遊。如果你不喜歡擁擠，請別來這裡。但是冬季水鄉非常安靜，特別是避開周末及假期的平常日子裡。
