– Goede bestaande logistieke structuur
– Bonden
– Lange bestaande huurcontracten
– electronica >> beveiliging, antistatische vloeren
– kleding >> tussenvloeren, rails voor hangende kleding
– levensmiddelen >> HACCP regelgeving
– automotive >> pickprocessen op tussenvloeren
– spare parts >> complexe pick- en sorteerprocessen
– chemie >> geavanceerde brandblussystemen
– farmacie >> steriele ruimten
– geconditioneerd >> verwarmen, koelen en vriezen
– agrarisch >> roostervloeren, grote overheaddeuren
– zware lading >> bovenloopkranen, sterke vloeren
– crossdock >> weinig hoogte, veel loading docks

Decision criteria for Warehouse specifics/ Lay out
• Suitable for multi-user warehousing
• Flexibility
• Level of automation
• Easy to change in future
• As much as possible market generic
We spec our warehouses for future customers
Food for thought
• Give lot of attention for the social components especially when you move from one warehouse to another
•Pay attention for future value. Build/ design generic as possible
• take your social responsibility for environmental look also for existing site not only build new
a logistic hot spot is not always the best solution
