What is WINGBUG?

So, what IS WINGBUG, anyway.

Glad you asked. WINGBUG is a Bluetooth-enabled ADAHRS system that is portable, affordable and lightweight with recording capabilities - that last little feature is the flight data that you get to review anytime.

How Does It Work?

Attach WINGBUG to any aircraft using standard mounting accessories and turn on your mobile or tablet device. After connecting, the WINGBUG magic begins. A sensory board in the WINGBUG device detects all of the measurements that you have in your aircraft’s cockpit. But it’s digital and portable and recorded.

Who Is WINGBUG?

Impossible! How has this never been done before? Well, it’s not entirely novel but the innovation is in the portable digitization.

Founders, Alex and Brandon, are a unique pair. Take a pilot and a rocket scientist and the aviation possibilities are nearly endless.

Where did the idea come from?

Why can’t I have a sensor that gives me air speed on my phone?

That is possible, of course it is - and I

will prove it.

WINGBUG’s Story

Lifetime friends Alex and Brandon built a foundation for aviation innovation. WINGBUG was conceived in 2015 and over the last year has come from being an Arduino kit in an Altoid tin to a professionally constructed electronic board in a sleek, waterproof case.

WINGBUG has been busy designing, building, testing and flying to get the best product ready for market. We have our MVP set to demo in October and can’t wait to share our experience, the product’s evolution and our vision for the future of aviation.
