• Messengers who gave good news as well as warning, that mankind, after (the coming) of the Messengers, should have no plea against God: For God is Exalted in Power, Wise.

MEANING OF QUR'AN:

• Literally, Qur'an:• Qara‘a (قرأ): قرأناه فإذا وقرآنه، جمعه علينا إن

: . القيامة قرآنه 17-16فاتبع .• Qarn (قرن): Hajj-i Qiran.• Qar'un: (قرء): to combine. narratives,

promises, threats etc..

• Technically,– The miracle words of Allah, which was revealed

to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, which is rewarded through its reading.

MEANING OF HADITH

• Literally, – new and modern.– narration, report, word and dreams.

• Technically:على • الرسول يطلق و قول و فعله، ، تقريره،

الخلقية .الخ�لقيةووصفته• What the Prophet said, deeds and tacitly

approved, his natural creation and his attitude.

Deedsالفعل:

• “Pray as how you see me pray”•2286 : قال مرفوعا جابر لتأخذوا عن

• “Perform Hajj as how I did…”

Tacitly Approvedاإلقرار:

• : خالد أكل الرسول حضرة مائدة الضبفي في.) ( . البخاري يكره ولم يأكل فلم الرسول،

• In the Present of the Prophet PBUH, Khalid ate “Dhabb”, the Prophet did not eat neither hate it.

• : أكل الرسول غيبة الكبير في رسول السمك وقولشيء لديكم بقي إذا حظي أعطوني البخاري، ) .الله،

: 4013رقم: : رقم مسلم ،3576)• In the absence of the Prophet, they eat big fish. He

said, “Give me some if there is balance”.

• He PBUH was easy going, moderate attitude, kind and soft, neither harsh nor bad tempered, not cursing or looking down (over others)

HADITH QUDSI:

• Literally: holiness, purity, greatness • ( لك ونقدس بحمدك نسبح 30البقرة: (ونحن• “ And we (angels) praise on You and Purify You”

• Technically:• The hadith which the Prophet PBUH quotes the

statement of Allah, who speaks in the first person “I”.

the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what God hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to them.

People of the Book, to make it known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it; but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it cheap price. And vile was the bargain they made!
