PGM Sx 使用說明 一、功能與特色 :

1.針對ATMEL, Microchip,Intel,Philips,Dallas,Winbond 或EMC之晶片作燒錄的功能。2.操作軟體採標準畫面,適合WINDOWS視窗之操作。3.檔案格式支援hex(十六進制),bin(二進制),CDS (含長度二進制),JED四種格式。4.使用USB-COM:介面連接,不用插卡。5. WINDOWS視窗操作命令簡易而完整、易於操作。6.採用可變長度自動燒錄,有效縮短燒錄時間。7.支援反組譯(Disassembly)顯示功能。

二、操作方式 : 1. 排線接法:

RS232接頭接到PC, PS2接頭接到燒錄主機。使用外接ADAPTOR或usb電源。打開電源開關,若紅燈閃爍一下並嗶一聲停止,代表電源正常。USB-A接頭接到PC, B接頭接到燒錄主機。USB直接提供5V電源,可免使用外接ADAPTOR。打開電源開關,若紅燈閃爍一下停止,代表電源正常。若USB無法提供200mA以上,可使用外接ADAPTOR DC 7-9V。

2.電源接法:ADAPTOR之插頭與插座為+對+接合,使輸出接頭為 與電路板之接頭對應,如下圖。 ADAPTOR 電源接頭

3. USB-COM:驅動程式安裝:使用USB-COM:之機型必須先作USB-COM:驅動程式安裝, 請先執行\USB-COM

driver\setup, 若安裝成功, 可在控制台\裝置下有一新增之CP2101 USB to UART Bridge Controller(COM#:) 如下圖:

連線後將新增一(通訊埠com:)

4.操作執行:本軟體在WINDOWS作業系統下執行之單晶片燒錄的操作畫面作一說

明。首先將燒錄器與PC的任一USB介面接頭連接起來如圖2-1,然後打開電路板上的電源開關,此時可見板上的紅燈閃一下後,表示燒錄模擬器正常啟動。軟體執行後,開始搜尋設定之COM:及選擇之傳送速度115K-921K, 若搜尋不到, 重新以921K速度由COM1:- COM8:測試連線, 若仍無法連線, 再以115K(舊版)速度由COM1:- COM8: 測試連線。-在WINDOWS視窗之操作下,視窗軟體提供功能的特性如下:

◎兩種資料的檔案存取。◎多重文件處理能力。◎ 提供完整指令來燒錄程式或資料。◎ 狀態列隨時顯示晶片的燒錄設定。◎ 環境設定儲存方便下次燒錄。

執行步驟如下:

1. 執行 PGMSx-Vxx.exe

若燒錄器以接上, 則顯示ok, 按確定進入如下畫面:

2. 打開一個檔案則畫面顯示如圖2-2:

3. 選擇指令設定燒錄參數或通訊埠。進入選擇畫面如圖2-3:

在開啟舊檔中, 可能因buffer太少而未完全載入,欲加大buffer重新載入, 請按YESb.晶片設定:用以指定IC的燒錄設定包括:

1.保護設定:選擇lock位元不同層次的保護。2.Power up timer enable:啟動或關閉「快速啟動計時位元」、「電源消耗位元」。3.Watch dog enable:啟動或關閉「看門狗啟動位元」。4.振盪方式選擇:選擇S1200 IC 之振盪方式為internal RC或external,或PIC IC

之振盪方式為LP,XT,HS,RC其中之一,或EMC IC之振盪方式。

5.Id no. for pic:選擇PIC /EMC IC之燒錄Id編號。6. clock/boden設定:EMC IC 之 clock 2/4 或 PIC IC 之 boden bit。7. v1/delay/c2-c0設定:EMC IC 之 sign1-vof1 bits, delay bits 或 c2-c0 calibration bits 8. v2/wrt/reset-p63設定:EMC IC 之 sign2-vof2 bits, reset-p63 bits bits 或 PIC IC 之 wrt-

cpd-lvp bits c. 讀取晶片設定:讀取晶片中的設定資料。如振盪方式、保護設定等。d. 通訊埠選擇:選擇燒錄器與PC連接之串列埠為com1-com8。

選擇不同串列埠,將重新初始化並檢查連線;選擇auto-connected,將逐一由com1-com8重新初始化並檢查連線

e. 通訊埠速度選擇:選擇燒錄器與PC連接之baud rate 115k-921k。f.. 顯示方式:反組譯/HEX選擇。8051反組譯可設定開始位址。4. 選用燒錄指令來讀取晶片中資料或將文件資料燒錄至晶片中。選擇燒錄指令,進入選擇畫面如下:

c.EE-proG -將視窗內的程式資料燒錄在單晶片資料區(EEPROM AREA),再驗證之。d.Blank check-檢查單晶片程式記憶體內容是否為空白。e.Erase-將單晶片程式記憶體內容的消除。f.Verify-驗證文件中資料內容與單晶片程式區的資料是否一樣。g.EE-verifY-驗證文件中資料內容與單晶片EEPROM內的資料是否一樣。h.Read-將單晶片程式記憶體內容讀入文件視窗內。i.EE-reaD-將單晶片EEPROM內的資料內容讀入文件視窗內。j.Lock -設定鎖碼燒錄保護層次位元燒入晶片中。5. 文件資料的修改,選擇編輯指令,進入選擇畫面如下:其中「編輯視窗」的指令包括:a. 修改(R) -修改某一位址的資料。b.充填(F)-將資料填入一段區域內。c.資料全部清除為0(C) -將區域內資料填入0。e.計算檢查和(S)-將區域內資料全部相加,以四位數之16進制值表示。

b. Reset:暫存器資料初始值重新設定、pc=0000。c. Go:程式由目前pc位址開始執行。d. Step Into:程式目前pc位址單步執行,若目前位址為call指令,則進入副程式。e. Step Over:程式目前pc位址單步執行,若目前位址為call指令,則完成副程式。f. Step Out:程式目前pc位址執行直至ret指令結束為止。g. Run to Address:程式目前pc位址執行至指定位址。h. Set/Clear Break Point:設定/清除斷點,設定斷點可指定位址。i Edit pc,i/xdata:設定pc位址,內部資料idata及外部資料xdata,可設定5筆位址資料。8.狀態列 : 顯示目前燒錄設定的狀態。欄位1 : IC 編號,如 [Atmel-90s2313], 欄位2 : 燒錄長度,如 [燒錄長度-00400]欄位3 : 保護位元,如 [Lock-NO] 表示未保護, 欄位4 : 看門狗位元,如 [WDOG=X]

欄位5 : 振盪型式,如 [OSC=X], 欄位6 : 電源啟動/消耗,如 [POWERUP-enable]欄位7 : 通訊埠,如 [通訊埠=com3:], 表示正與com3:連線。欄位8 : 燒錄成功計數,如 [OK=0] 表示燒錄成功次數為09.工具列 : 快速操作圖示。依序包括: 開啟新檔(N),開啟舊檔(C), 儲存檔案(S);IC型號選擇,Auto-自動執行,prograM,EE-proG,Blank check,Erase,Verify,EE-verifY,Read,EE-reaD,說明(Help)。

I、Capacity and Features: 1. Offer programming operation for the series chips of 89s, AVR of Atmel company or

PICs of Microchip , EMC IC and the MCS-51chips of Intel, Dallas, Philips and Winbond.

2.Easy to operate on a compact screen with the OS of MS-DOS or WINDOWS.3.Support two kinds of hexadecimal(HEX), binary(BIN) and head binary (CDS)data format.4.Use the interface of com1: - com8: in PC, no more card is needed.6. Adopt changeable programming length of data written for saving time.

a. Safety Instructions1. Don’t drop it. Make sure it’s on stable surface. If the writer falls, the case and other

components could be damaged.2. Don’t overheat it. Keep the writer and power supply away from any kind of heating

element. Keep the writer out of direct sunlight.3. Avoid interference. Keep the computer away from high capacity transformer, electric

motors, and other strong magnetic fields. These can hinder proper performance and damage your data.

4. Keep it dry. This is an electrical appliance. If water or any other liquid gets into it, the writer could be badly damaged.

5. Be careful with power. The writer has specific power requirements.◎ Only use a power adapter approved for used with this wrter.◎ Your AC adapter may be designed for international travel but it still requires a steady,

uninterrupted power supply. If you are unsure of your local power specifications, consult your dealer or local power company.

◎ When you want to unplug the power. Be sure to disconnect it by the plug head, not by the wire.

b. Power UsageThe writer comes with an AC power cord and an auto-switching, current-protected power

adapter. When the adaptor is connected to a power source and then to the writer, the LED lights to indicate the writer is receiving AC power. To use the AC adapter:

1.Plug the adapter into the outlet of AC power.2.Plug the power adapter to the socket on the writer. 3.Press the ON/OFF switch to turn the writer on.4.Make sure the red LED blinking two times with 1 Hz after power on.

If the adapter cuts down the power because of over-current protection, it needs to be plugged out at least one minute for power recovery, then to be replugged in again.

b. Cable ConnectionFor A,B or CFor A,B or C TypeType:

Plug USB-A to USB of PC and USB-B to IC writer. Power can be supplied by USB and adapter is not necessary.

3. USB-COM: driver installation:The USB-COM: driver must be installed before USB-COM: used. Please run \USB-COM

driver\setup From USB-COM: disc, if the installation is success , user can see a new driver CP2101 USB to UART Bridge Controller(COM#:)under console\device is shown below:

After connection, a new (com: port) added.

d. Software OperationThis software adopts menu driven action method to help user for data programming. We

provide easy to use instructions for selection. It can run on the WINDOWS system. The operations are described as follows:

First, connect the writer to the USB or com: port of PC with the cable shown as Fig.2-1, then turn the PC and the writer power on. At that time, when you see the LED light blinking 2 times with 1 Hz frequency, it means that the writer has started normally.

The software will check the connection with a set com: and baud rate first. If failed, com1:-com8: will be tried with baud rate 921k/sec. again. If still failed, com1:-com8: will be tried with baud rate 115k/sec. finally

If the hardware has plugged, it shows ON LINE OK, press OK key to continue and the next show as follow:

3.To choose Option for selecting the programming type: After choosing the Option command, the display area is shown as Fig. 2-3. The Option commands include::a. Vender:Select the manufactory and chip number.

If the new chip number need more memory buffer(>128kb), you need to reload the file if the data cut. b.Lock : Select the protection type depending on the selected chip.c.Power up timer enable:Set the power up enable or disable or power consumption high /lowd.Watch dog enable:Set the watch dog bit on/off.e.osc type(N) : Choose the osc type to be internal RC or external for S1200 IC or one of

LP,XT,HS,RC for PIC IC, or the osc type of EMC IC.f.Id no.:Choose the ID no. to be programmed into IC for pic or EMC.

g. Clock/boden:Select clock 2/4 of EMC IC or boden bit of PIC IC .h. v1/delaY/c2-c0:Select the sign1-vof1 bits, delay bits or the c2-c0 calibration bits of EMC IC i. v2/wrt/reset-p63(Z):Select the sign2-vof2 bits, reset-p63 bits bits of EMC IC or the wrt-cpd-
