Ø  Secretariat  iden-fy  all  outstanding  AGP  reports  Ø  Secretariat  liaise  with  AGP  to  iden-fy  reports  to  be  published  in  next

a.  PAC  convene  in  private  for  20  minutes:  i.  discuss  briefly  the  aim  of  each  witness  examina-on  ii.  allocate  ques-ons  

b.  The  Chair  opens  mee-ng  in  public  (or  to  witnesses)  i.  First  group  of  witnesses  are  invited  to  take  their  places  –  maximum  of  five  

witnesses  per  organisa-on  at  any  one  hearing  ii.  Chair  gives  brief  introduc-on  iii.  AGP  make  very  brief  statement  on  key  issues  iden-fied  iv.  Each  ques-on,  as  allocated,  is  put  to  witnesses  v.  Witnesses  respond  vi.  Supplementary  ques-ons  are  put  to  witnesses  vii.  Process  at  iv  –  vi  con-nues  un-l  end  of  -me  allocated  to  first  group    viii.  Process  at  i  –  vii  con-nues  un-l  all  witnesses  have  been  heard  or  no  -me  leL  

c.   PAC  reconvene  in  private:  i.  Consider  key  findings  ii.  Consider  of  witnesses  need  to  be  recalled  or  other  witnesses  added  to  list  iii.  Consider  if  further  wriKen  evidence  should  be  called  for

a.  ALer  each  individual  PAC  mee-ng  (including  planning  mee-ngs):  i.  Secretariat  prepare  Record  of  Decisions  ii.  Secretariat  archive  audio  recording  of  mee-ng  in  digital  format  iii.  Chair  approves  Record  of  Decisions  iv.  Secretariat  publish  Record  of  Decisions  to  all  Members,  AGP  and  on  

web  site  –  for  hearings,  copies  are  also  sent  to  all  witnesses

b.  ALer  each  inquiry  has  concluded:  i.  Secretariat  prepare  draL  report  based  on  evidence  and  Record  of  

Decisions  ii.  Chair  convenes  PAC  in  private  to  consider  draL  report  and  give  Order  

to  be  Printed  with  any  amendments  agreed  iii.  Secretariat  table  report  and  immediately  publish  on  web  site  with  

copies  to  all  Members,  AGP  and  witnesses    iv.  Chair  writes  to  relevant  Principal  Accoun-ng  Officer  to  request  a  

response  within  -me  period  agreed  by  the  Na-onal  Assembly  v.  Secretariat  publish  Government  response  when  received  vi.  Secretariat  request  AGP  to  provide  comments  on  response  vii. PAC  meet  to  consider  Government  response

recommenda-ons  as  to  whether  there  should  be  a  further  hearing  iii.  Chair  convenes  PAC  in  private  to  consider  follow-­‐up  report  and  if  any  

further  hearings  are  needed  iv.  Secretariat  table  follow-­‐up  report  aLer  Order  to  be  Printed  has  been  

agreed  and  immediately  publish  on  web  site  with  copies  to  all  Members,  AGP  and  Principal  Accoun-ng  Officer    

v.  AGP  is  requested  to  comment  on  further  ac-on  on  recommenda-ons  in  each  subsequent  audit  report
