生活中讓市民了解大金產品的優點。除了香港，Pichonkun更隻身飛往澳門，在各巴士站的廣告板上

宣傳，讓不同地方的人都能夠接觸到大金。

It comes to the end of year 2010, Daikin Airconditioning (Hong Kong) Limited wishes you a “Merry

Christmas and a Happy New Year.” In year 2010, thanks to the support of all members, Daikin Hong

Kong got an outstanding accomplishment. In this issue of VRV Club Newsletter, we enclosed

herewith a Pichonkun schedule book to express our thanks to all members. We hope that all mem-

bers and Daikin Hong Kong can keep a good partnership all the time. Once again thanks for all

your support. Pichonkun promotes our products in different media in last year. For example, our

plane advertisement is printed in various magazines and newspapers. Besides, you can find

Pichonkun in public transport such as tram and MTR digital panel in order that people can understand the advantages of Daikin

products in daily life. Apart from Hong Kong, there is promotion on the advertisement board of the bus stop in Macau.

為配合市場所需，大金香港已推出一款多功能VRV系統，將家用中央空調、熱泵地暖、生活熱水系統三大設備集為一體，用非常節能和有效的方式解決夏天的制冷、冬天的制熱、生活熱水需求的系統。空調制冷時，原本從壓縮機出來的高溫冷媒進入冷媒-水熱交換器，將廢熱用於加熱生活熱水，而熱交換後出來的低溫冷媒進入空調室內機，用於冷卻室內空氣。系統制冷的同時，實現熱回收地暖及製造生活熱水的功能。地暖的熱量直接從足部而起，與中醫學的「涼頂暖足」的養生保健之道完全吻合，充分使人體有溫暖的感覺，不會出現身體熱而腳還是很冷的情況。環保方面，多功能VRV地暖不直接燃燒燃氣，因此不會直接產生CO2的排放。熱泵使用電力驅動，比直接使用燃料的鍋爐產生更低的CO2排放量。同時，冷媒-水熱交換器沒有燃燒加熱的過程，因此沒有燃燒廢氣的排放，令家庭和社區的環境更健康。規格方面，室外機分單相和三相兩款，單相的匹數為4至6匹 (散熱扇從旁出風)，三相為8至16匹(散熱扇從頂部出風)。而室內機有6款不同的款式供客人選擇，匹數由0.5匹至3.5匹。水箱亦有3款不同水容量，可配合客戶不同的需要。為家人提供一個舒適又環保居住環境，這一系列實屬必然之選。

In order to satisfy the demand of market, Daikin Hong Kong introduced new series of Multi-function VRV system. It combines central air conditioning systems, floor heating & hot water system and provides cooling, floor heating and hot water in an energy saving way. During cooling operation, high temperature refrigerant from the compressor passes through the heat exchanger, then uses for cooling the indoor area. In the meanwhile floor heating and hot water production is put into practice. Heat energy emits at the bottom and warms up the whole human body. It avoids the situation that the body feels warm but the extremities are still cold. In order to be environmental friendly, no fuel is being burnt during floor heating so that there is no direct carbon dioxide emission. On the other hand, heat pump is driven by electricity and less carbon dioxide is generated compared with that in fuel burning. Also, without fuel heating process in the heat exchanger, no carbon dioxide is emitted and a healthy environment is provied for our family and society. For the specification, there are single phase outdoor units (horizontial discharge) ranged from 4 to 6 HP and 3-phase (vertical discharge) ranged from 8 to 16 HP. 6 different kinds of indoor units from 0.5 to 3.5 HP and 3 kinds of water tank with different volume are available. For the most creative air conditioner field, multi-function VRV system will be the best choice.

大金環保產品介紹會二零一零 Green Products Seminar 2010

「大金環保產品介紹會二零一零」已於本年度9月27日假坐九龍香格里拉酒店順利舉行。

是次活動反應熱烈，共邀請了250多名各大企業集團、政府部門及顧問公司代表參加。

顧名思義，本活動的主要目的為介紹大金一系列環保產品及技術。當日，我們除介紹大

金全線已採用R410A環保雪種的家用及商用冷氣機系列，亦率先展示兩款於來年推出市

場的全新產品—配有採暖系統的多功能VRV系統及能兼容R22雪種喉的VRV III-Q系統。有

見R410A環保雪種及變頻技術逐漸備受用家重視，我們特意加插一環節，以助用家釐清

R410A及R22安裝上的區別，以及進一步了解變頻技術的原理。

研討會過後，嘉賓非常滿意活動安排，並認為內容充實，有助加深對大金產品及各項技

術的認識。

The Daikin’s Green Products Seminar 2010 was held on 27 September at Kowloon

Shangri-La, Hong Kong. Over 250 representatives from different enterprises, govern-

ment departments and consultancy companies were invited to attend the seminar,

which received enthusiastic support from the participants.

One of the major aims of the seminar was to introduce a series of green products launched in 2010, together with the underlying technolo-

gies adopted during the manufacturing process. Special attention was also drawn to two of the new products to be released to the market

in the coming year, namely Multi Function VRV and VRV III-Q system. While the major functions of Multi Function VRV system include multi

air-conditioning, floor heating and hot water, the VRV III-Q system requires only a simple installation process using existing R22 refrigerant

piping with no additional equipment needed. In addition, taking into account the increasing trend of using both R410A and Inverter technol-

ogy in air-conditioning, a sharing session was arranged in particular to illustrate the differences between the installation process of R410A

and R22, and also to promote a more in-depth understanding of the rationale behind Inverter technology.

In the end, many of the participants expressed great satisfaction with the seminar, which was regarded as an important step towards better

understanding of the products and technologies adopted by Daikin.

承蒙各VRV Club會員的熱烈參與，大金於2010年10月29日在西貢三星灣魚排舉辦的VRV Club 釣魚王

大賽順利舉行。是晚比賽分設個人賽及團體賽。個人賽方面，最快釣得魚獲的參賽者封為釣魚勝手，

而上釣的魚獲之中，釣得最重一條的參賽者封為釣魚重一郎，釣得魚獲第二及第三重的參賽者則封為

釣魚次一郎及釣魚次二郎。團體賽方面，就以總重量決勝負。總重量最重的三組分別封為釣魚大達人

組、釣魚大超人組及釣魚大名人組。說明比賽規則後，各會員迅速尋找組員，場面熱鬧。比賽開始，

不論個人抑或團體參賽者，便立即各就各位，全力以赴爭取勝利。除了使用大會供應的手排，有參賽

者更有備而來，帶備了私人魚竿，望能增加勝算。比賽期間，大會有專人為各會員提供燒烤食物及飲

料 ; 另外還有其他美食供應，讓各會員能夠專心投入比賽之餘，也能享用一頓豐富的晚餐。大會更是

「加料」，讓會員們在魚排中釣出三條石斑，三條石斑未幾便成為會員們的盤中餐。一邊垂釣，一邊

享用美食，不知不覺間比賽已到達尾聲。經一番秤重點算後，由大金宣佈賽果以及頒獎，活動到此亦圓滿結束。不論得獎與否，各會

員皆盡興而回。在此，大金再次感謝各會員對VRV Club的支持，並期待下一次活動能得到各會員的積極參與。

Thanks for the support of all VRV Club members, Daikin VRV Club held a VRV Club Angling and

BBQ Night in the Aquatic Farm in Sam Sing Wan, Sai Kung on 29 October 2010. On that night, there

were individual and group competitions. For individual competition, the first member who has

angled successfully and the members who had the first three heaviest fish got the prize. On the

other hand, all the groups competed with each other by the total weight of all the fish angled. After

announcing the rules, members built up their own group rapidly. Once the competition started, no

matter beginner or expert, all participants did their best to fight for the champion. Some members

even brought their own angling tools to increase the chance of winning. During the competition,

BBQ food and catering service were provided for our members so that our members could focus on

angling and also enjoyed a delicious dinner. Moreover, we invited members to angle 3 valuable

groupers to be our dinner. After the award ceremony, the function was ended with the voice of

exciting and fun. Now, we would like to once again thank you for all members supporting VRV Club.

上期會員「尊」訊已為大家介紹過一故障代碼【U1】，於試運轉期間若系統有缺相或反相的情況這故障代碼便有機會出現。今期會員「尊」訊會繼續為大家介紹另一有機會於調試期間出現的故障代碼【U4】。故障代碼【U4】代表室內機與室外機之間傳送故障。VRV系統由多組控制線將室內外機及控制器連接，分別是室外機至室外機的F1F2、室外機至室內機的F1F2及室內機至控制器的P1P2。而此故障代碼是泛指F1F2的控制連接線，包括室外機至室外機及室外機至室內機的控制線路。出現些故障代碼的原因例如有：室內外機的控制線路斷線、短路或接錯、室外機電源關閉及電子板不良等。以《圖一》作個例子，系統二其中一室內機錯誤地連接到系統一中，所以當系統一運作時故障代碼【U4】便會出現。於這種情況，安裝人員需跟進控制路，然後跟據冷媒系統的機組數目作出修正，而這個案從新連接該室內機到系列二中如《圖二》示。要避免同類型問題發生，我們建議於安裝時以不同顏色的電線來區別不同系統，《圖二》中的系統一使用黃藍色線而系統二使用棕黑色線或使用其他方法辨別不同系統。

In the last issue of VRV Club Newsletter, we introduced the malfunction code “U1” which will appear during T&C if the power phase is reversed or opened. In this issue we will continue to introduce a malfunction code “U4” which also will appear during VRV T&C if problem happened. Malfunction code “U4” means communication error between indoor unit and outdoor unit. In the VRV control system, control wires connect all indoor units, outdoor unit and remote controllers. While this malfunction code indicates the connec-tion error of control wires between outdoor F1F2 and indoor F1F2. There are several proposed cases will cause this malfunction code appeared such as F1F2 controller wires disconnected/ short circuit or wrong wiring , outdoor unit power OFF or PC board failure etc. Let’s have an example in Fig 1 control wire of one indoor unit in System 2 wrongly connect to System 1, then during System 1 running “U4” may appear. In such case, contractor should check the control wiring and re-connect the control wire according to the refrigerant system as Fig 2. To prevent such problem happened, we suggested contractors to use different colors of cable to indicate number of systems like Fig 2. Control cables of System 1 use yellow & blue, then control cables of System 2 use brown & black or using marking in end of the control cable to indicate number of the system.

大金VRV於過去的廿多年不斷於冷媒長度作出突破，至今最長管長可達156米。今期VRV Club會員「尊」訊之登堂入室，將會帶大家到淺水灣道129號，看一看我們VRV系統應用於大型樓宇的實例。於97年被華懋集團豪擲55.5億元投得的淺水灣道129號豪宅用地，經多年來的發展，終在2010年以出租服務式住宅形式推出市場。命名為「The Lily」的淺水灣道129號樓高二十八層，共一百伙，總樓面面積達三十萬平方呎，全數單位連會所設施的冷氣均由超過二百套的VRV系統提供。而單位面積方面則由1,800平方呎至3,900平方呎，配合我們齊全而寧靜的超薄型風管室內機FXDQ系列，得以令每一個單位、每一個空間都得到最適合的冷量，令每一個住客都得到最舒適而寧靜的生活空間。

In the past twenty years, Daikin VRV break through the limitation of pipe length, now the longest pipe length can be as long as 165m. In this issue, we are going to visit 129 Repulse Bay road, which is a good reference showing VRV system fully applying in a large-scale building. In 1997 year, Chinachem Group spent 5.55 billion Hong Kong dollars for this land, after 13 years development, Chinachem Group launches this luxury residential building project to market as a service apartment. This development, named “The Lily”, has total 28 number of storeys & provides 100 residential units. The total floor area amounts is up to 300,000 squares feet. All the air-conditioning for the residential units and clubhouse are served by more than 200 VRV systems. The flat area is from 1,800 squares feet to 3,900 squares feet, our wide range and quiet Slim Ceiling Mounted Duct type indoor unit, FXDQ series, is suitable to provide an accurate and sufficient cooling capacity to each flat, each area. The residents also can experience the most comfortable living space.
