1. Cement

Sulphate resisting cement shall comply with BS 4027 or other approved standards

relating to cements possessing sulphate resisting qualities. High alumina low heat

ordinary !ortland or other cements shall not "e considered within the scope o# thisspeci#ication "ut shall "e su"$ect to the requirements o# a supplementary

speci#ication when required to "e used.

%he Contractor shall note the date o# delivery on each consignment and each

consignment shall "e stored separately and in such manner as to "e easily

accessi"le and identi#ia"le. &o cement in "ags or other containers shall "e used

unless these and the manu#acturer's seals are intact at the time o# mi(ing.

"uilding and the "ags shall "e placed on dry "oards a"ove the #loor to prevent

deterioration or contamination #rom any cause. %he Contractor shall not use
