HEALTHY FOOD
A healthy food is one that lacks an ingredient, or does not contain it in large
quantities, that can generate a degenerative disease when its consumption is
repeated.
In addition, they are those that by their equal composition or by the particular
process of their manufacture, are distinguished from the products of ordinary
consumption. They are appropriate for the stated nutritional purpose and are
marketed indicating that they meet this objective.
FRUITSThis section includes all kinds of seasonal and tropical fruits. Here are two
exceptions: drinking a fruit juice is not the same as eating the fruit, just as the fruit
jelly does not equal a serving of it either.
INTEGRAL CEREALSHere you will find unprocessed corn, oats or whole wheat that can be found in
products such as bread or pasta, as well as brown rice. "They do not enter the
cookies, they have more fat and more sugar than the pastries.
PROTEIN FOODS This group includes white meats (poultry, rabbit), fish, vegetables, eggs and nuts.
NUTRITIONAL AVENUEHot oats on a cold morning is a must for winter survival. It's also a good way to stay
satisfied until lunch and an excellent source of soluble fiber, the kind that helps
keep your cholesterol levels low.
WATERThe human being is around 60% water (depending on men and women), hence
good hydration is essential to enjoy good health. Of course, "that our source of
hydration is water or infusions with little or no sugar," remarked nutritionists.
HEALTHY FOODS
A food may be considered healthy when it contains these words:
Fat-free
Reduced fat
Low in fat
Sugarfree
No added sugar
Diet
However, many of these foods are unhealthy, since they contain other elements -
not fat but with sugar, or without sugar but hyperproteic.
Apart, they usually have lots of carbohydrates and many artificial elements. Even
light or diet foods have caused cancer in rats after daily consumption.
FRIESIt has often been recommended to avoid the use of frying because of its high trans
fat content and thus the prevention of altered levels of cholesterol and
cardiovascular accidents, which have increased their prevalence in recent years in
children under 15 years. In addition, several studies have found that the frequent
and frequent consumption of fried foods in girls would cause infertility during
childbearing years.
GAS DRINKSFancy drinks are nothing more than water, coloring and high levels of sugar, so all
they do is gain weight and increase the chances of getting diabetes at an early
age. It is also good to point out that the excess of sugar in our body are converted
to fats and thus also favors that it deposits in the arteries that can cause vascular
accidents and heart attacks at an early age.
FOODS LIGHT, LOW IN FAT AND DIETMany of these foods contain aspartame, fructose or sucrose. But in addition to this,
it is a fact that the loss of fats and sugar returns to food more tasteless and to
counteract this, recourse is made to unhealthy amounts of artificial sweeteners,
coloring and sweeteners, which, although they do not contribute calories, possess
a power Of higher sweetness and with it the brain elevates the taste threshold.
POWDER JUICES Powdered juices possess in addition to sugar in cans quantities, high
concentrations of dyes. One of the main dyes used in Chile is tartrasin, a yellow
dye. Clinical studies have pointed out that if a child consumes many milligrams of
tartris daily, after a period of eight or ten years it could show respiratory effects on
his health, such as asthma and severe allergy.
PROCESSED MEATS Mentioned previously, are the sausages, the sausage, the bacon, the canned
meat or included in pre-cooked products, among others.
