Emotional Development Begin to form self concept Understand they have their own
feelings
Social Development Tend to play alone instead of with other
children Parallel play: play alongside one
another instead of with each other Around age 2, they struggle between
dependency on others and the desire to be independent
Easily frustrated, love the word NO!
Moral Development Begin to understand what is right and
what is wrong Test new behaviors to see what
happens
