and I tried to recover to find out what happened. With the wind and enormous waves we were going in the direction of the whirlpool. When we were on the edge of the whirlpool I felt calmer.

At the beginning I thought I would die but moment after moment passed I survived. However, I was taken to go round in circles at great speed later, so I had to escape and I tied myself to a barrel. In this way, I did escape. Other fishermen picked me up in the end and I was tired. They were my old friends, however, they didn’t recognise me because of my white hair.
