The Jozankei Hot Springs was first founded by Bisen Jozan, a Buddhist monk in 1866. There are many scenic spots in Jozankei such as the Jozan Fountainhead Park, foot baths, hand baths, Iwato Kannondo Shrine, which can all be enjoyed with each changing season. 定山溪溫泉起源於1866年，是由一名叫做美泉定山的修行僧發現的，這裡不但有四季不同的美景，還有定山源泉公園、足湯、手湯、岩手觀音堂等眾多景點。

Hoheikyo Onsen　豐平峽溫泉Natural hot springs with three outdoor baths surrounded by beautiful nature. Their famous authentic north Indian food (specialty nan and curry), and Jyuwari Soba noodles are popular among visitors. 本溫泉最大的特色，就是被大自然所環繞，戶外感十足的三座大露天浴池，皆為源泉直掛式溫泉。有名的北印度料理（特製烤餅＆咖哩等）及十割蕎麥麵都相當有人氣。

這裡的泉質因能有效舒緩神經痛等症狀而盛名遠播。附近還有「札幌市愛努文化交流中心 Sapporo Pirka Kotan」，能認識有關愛努族的歷史與文化。

The hot spring is well known for its efficacy on ailments such as neuralgia. The Sapporo Ainu Cultural Exchange Center Sapporo Pirika Kotan, where you can learn about the history and culture of the Ainu people, is also located nearby.
