2006 Azetidine derivatives R 0045 The Simple and Selective Synthesis of 3-Amino-2,2-difluorocarboxylic Esters and Difluoro-β-Lactams Using Ethyl Bromodifluoroacetate in the Presence of Rhodi- um Catalyst. — A series of 13 imines is subjected to rhodium-catalyzed Reformatsky reaction, to give the corresponding difluoro-β-lactams.
