The Magic Bagel is an interactive children’s book series that takes place in Beacon, NY. Each day Art and Anik from Beacon Bagel make one special bagel, and whoever eats that bagel gain some special powers… Each story is based on kids drawings and writings of their own magic bagel experience The books are offered for a suggested $5 donation to Doctors Without Borders (first issue), your local soup kitchen (second issue) and Moms Demand Action for gun sense in America (third issue). So far we’ve raised over $700 to these causes. You can order the books or download them as ebooks at alfassibooks.com and either donate to one of these causes or support Alfassi Books.

one morning Art and Anik were very very tired. Their son Casey had a new teeth coming out, it was so painful for him so he cried all night and they didn’t sleep at all. When they kneaded the dough, they forgot to take a little piece of it out in order to make the magic bagel. When they thought about it, it was already too late.
