Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan is a modern dance group based in Taiwan. It was founded by choreographer Lin Hwai-min ( 林懷民 ) in 1973.
雲門舞集是現代舞蹈團，總部設在台灣。它是由編舞家林懷民於 1973

“ ”雲門 是中國最古老的舞蹈，相傳存在於五千年前的黃帝時代，舞容舞步均已失傳，只留下這個美麗的舞名。
1973 “ ”年，林懷民以 雲門 作為舞團的名稱，這是臺灣第一個職業舞團。
“ ”雲門 經常應邀赴海外演出，是國際重要藝術節的常客。舞團以獨特的創意，精湛的舞技，獲得各地觀眾與舞評家的熱烈讚賞。
