Join the fourth annual “Eveningwith Stephen Neal” fundraiserbenefitting the Cal State Bakers-field wrestling program from5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, at
Stockdale Country Club.As another season of CSUB
wrestling has come to a close, officialsare already preparing for the 2013-14season and beyond. The program nolonger receives funding from the uni-versity, and is fully funded by thecommunity. Officials need to raise atleast $250,000 each year to sustain theprogram. This fundraiser, in additionto several other fundraisers duringthe year, helps meet this commitment.Accordingly, the Coyote Club invitesyou to participate in our “Eveningwith Stephen Neal” fundraiser.
The CSUB Wrestling program is amember of the Pac-12 Conference.Wrestling throughout California hasbeen a victim of widespread budgetcuts in recent years. At CSUB,wrestling has been a proud traditionfor more than 40 years.
This year, CSUB crowned twochampions at the PAC-12 Conferencemeet: senior Tyler Iwamura and red-shirt freshmen Bryce Hammonds. Thefuture looks bright as CSUB is in themidst of recruiting for the comingseason.
The fundraiser is your opportunityto be part of the future of CSUBwrestling.
Stephen Neal — a two-time NCAAheavyweight national champion,World Games champion, three-timeSuper Bowl champion, and a 10-yearveteran of the New England Patriots— will be the “guest of honor.” Anoral and silent auction, and raffledrawings, will be featured.
Organizers are seeking auctionitems for the event. Call if you haveany items to donate.

It’s time for FruitvaleJunior High’s annualspring production.This year, the schoolis featuring a some-
what comical version ofthe classic tale, “Cin-derella.”
Watch poor little “Ella”as she feuds with her stepfamily, and meets herincredibly funny FairyGodmother, and theprince of her dreams!
The production will beshown at 6:30 p.m., May 2and 3, in the FruitvaleJunior High multipurposeroom, at 2114 CallowayDrive.
Prices are $6 for adults,$4 for students 14 andunder.
The show is about anhour long.
