The Adventures of Tintin is an upcoming 2011 film based on The Adventures of Tintin. Directed by

Steven Spielberg, produced by Sir Peter Jackson, the script is based on three of the stories: The Crab with

the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn, and Red Rackham's Treasure. Spielberg first acquired

rights to Tintin after Hergé's death in 1983.

Plot: Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock's

ancestor. But someone else is in search of the ship.
