Kakšen mesec nazaj me ješestošolec izzval z vprašanjem:“V čem je štos tega medveda?Saj to je vendar navadna plišastaigrača.”

Navadna plišasta igrača … Zakajpa je potem tako priljubljen mednašimi otroki? Zakaj ravno ON inne medvedki, ki jih imajo doma?

Odgovor je seveda preprost.Zdravko ni samo plišasta igrača,ampak prijatelj, zdravnik, učitelj,dober poslušalec, predvsem panekdo, ki te nikoli ne pusti nacedilu. S svojimi “čudežnimi”gumbki preganja slabo voljo,umirja, pomaga pri učenju inodganja strah. Pomaga vsem.Majhnim in velikim, mlajšim instarejšim oz. otrokom in odraslim.

Nihče se ga ne sramuje.

Da vse, kar sem pravkar zapisala,drži, potrjuje tudi letošnja papirnataštevilka Glasa mladih. Ker jeZdravko tako zelo priljubljen, smomu v tem šolskem letu že namenilispletno številko. Že takrat je bilodziv izjemen, tokrat pa se jeodzvala kar celotna šola Polzela,vključno z vrtcem in podružnicoAndraž. Vse to dokazuje, da smoponovno “okuženi”, vendar ne zgripo, pač pa z ljubeznijo,prijateljstvom, mehkobo in toplino.Takšne “okužbe” pa se zagotovo neželimo znebiti.

Portreti drugošolcev v ozadjunaslovnice predstavljajo našeučence, njihove ročice pa prekrivajoZdravka, glavnega “junaka” celotne

številke.

Zelo smo veseli, da sta o Zdravkuspregovorili tudi ženski, ki staglavni krivki, da je medvedeksploh prišel na OŠ Polzela. To stagospa Valerija Pukl, ravnateljicaOŠ Polzela, in gospa Sabina Šilc,sončna osebnost leta, ki se jimoramo zahvaliti, da je Zdravkosploh prišel v Slovenijo.

In ker je Zdravko poznan inpriljubljen po vsem svetu, jetokratno glasilo opremljeno tudi zangleškimi prevodi.

Pa naj še kdo reče, da je ZdravkoSAMO plišasta igrača.

He helps the short and the tall,the young and the old, childrenand adults. Nobody is ashamed ofhim.The proof is this year’s edition ofThe Voice of the Young (Glasamladih). Because Zdravko was sovery popular we already gave himan edition on the website. Theresponse was exceptional then,but now the whole school in Pol-zela including kindergarten andAndraž responded. This showsthat we are »infected« again, andnot with a new flu, but with love,friendship, softness and warmth. The secret of a soft friend

About a month ago a child fromthe sixth class asked me: “What'sall about this teddy bear? This is acommon teddy bear”.A common teddy bear … Thenwhy is it so popular among ourchildren? Why HIM and not teddybears that they have at home?

The answer is simple.Zdravko is not only a cuddlytoy, but also a friend, a doc-tor, a teacher, a good lis-tener, most of all someonewho never lets you down.With his »magic« buttons hedrives away bad mood,calms down, makes you feelbetter, helps you with learn-ing and drives away fear. Hehelps everybody.

Dragi otroci, kaj pravite na tole mojotrditev, pa učitelji, starši? Jeseni, kosmo dobro pričeli novo šolsko leto,nas je vse presenetila nova gripa innajbrž se še spomnite, kako se jenaša šola, kot strela z jasnega neba,spremenila v pravi pekel. Pa nezaradi bolezni same, temvečštevilnih novinarjev, ki so skorajteden dni kraljevali na naši šoli.

Prav tedaj sem prinesla prvemedvedke v vrtec in šolo. Naročilasem jih pri Sabini Šilc, univerzitetnidiplomirani psihologinji in družinskiterapevtki, ki je Medveda Zdravkatudi pripeljala v Slovenijo. Kako se jerodil in od kod prihaja, Vam jeljubeznivo predstavila v svojemprispevku, ki ga je napisala posebejza naš časopis. Pravi, da jeponosna na nas, saj smo prva šola,na kateri se je Zdravko povsemudomačil in usvojil srca otrok,vzgojiteljev in učiteljev … Pravkarustanavlja društvo Medved Zdravko,z njim pa je prejela tudi priznanjesončna osebnost leta. Sicer pa nasje Sabina že dvakrat obiskala in naspoučila o zdravilnem medvedku inčarobnih gumbkih … Sedaj pa jeprav, da se vrnem v čas, ko smoprebolevali novo gripo, še bolj kot topa strah pred vedno novimiinformacijami, kako se zavarovatipred njo in obleganjem novinarjev,ki so vnesli dodatni nemir ter»povzročili« izredne razmere.

Tedaj sem se še prav posebejspomnila na Medvedka Zdravka, zakaterega sem izvedela naseminarju, ki ga je skupaj z očetommedveda, Tillom Schillingom,organizirala prav Sabina Šilc vDomžalah poleti 2009.

Ob tej priložnosti sem Sabino takojpoklicala in naročila 10 medvedkov.Tako so začeli opravljati svojeposlanstvo, pa ne le pri otrocih,ampak tudi vzgojiteljih in učiteljih …Nekatere pa je Medved Zdravkopospremil tudi domov. Otroci so ga znavdušenjem sprejeli, takoj znali

tapkati ob najrazličnejših težavah. Šeprav posebej jih je očaral s svojimčarobnim pogledom in čisto posebnomehkobo, toplino …

Danes imamo na šoli že več kotdvajset medvedkov, ki spremljajotako otroke v vrtcu kot v šoli narazličnih prireditvah, so glavni junakimnogih vaših zgodb, mar ne, dragiotroci, pesmic, risbic …

To pa je posebna kakovost, ki jopoleg vseh vzgojnih učinkov prinašaMedved Zdravko tudi na področjuprebujanja ustvarjalnosti.

Kaj pa naši »najstniki«, boste rekli,ali tudi oni potrebujejo medvedka? O,pa še kako, mogoče še bolj … Lajšajim tesnobo, strah pred testi, skratkaje njihov varuh in prijatelj.

Proces sprejemanja pri teh učencihje seveda potekal počasneje innekoliko drugače … Za razliko odnaših malih navihancev, ki so gasprejeli spontano, so najstniki začeliprepoznavati njegovo poslanstvošele, ko so ga sprejeli vrstniki. To seje zgodilo, ko sta z mano nastopili naVTV oddaji devetošolka Nika inpetošolka Maša. Dolge minutečakanja na nastop in strah pred njimsmo si lajšali s tapkanjem in zmedvedkom, kakopak …

Maša in Nika sta bilinavdušeni nadučinkom umirjanja, tudi oddaja jebila odlična … V šoli sta takoj začelioblegati učiteljice, naj vsemučencem predstavijo tapkanje zMedvedkom Zdravkom. Odslej jevsak dan prisoten v različnihrazredih, otroci se drenjajo zanj …Skratka, prirasel nam je k srcu -otrokom, vzgojiteljem, učiteljem …Medvedek postaja naš prijatelj,zdravnik, tolažnik, dobrotnik,veseljak - mehča naša srca in nasodpira za SOČUTJE …

Dragi otroci, strokovni delavci instarši, vesela in ponosna sem, danam je USPELO družno soustvarjatinovo, boljšo energijo …

Prav to dokazuje tudi naš najčasopis, iz katerega kar vre dobrotain ljubezen … Hvala vsemsoustvarjalcem, še prav posebej paglavni urednici Karmen Zupanc.

Naj tako ostane, želim vam zvrhankoš objemov in veselo tapkanje.

Then I especially rememberedZdravko, whom I found out about atthe seminar in Domžale in summer2009. Sabina Šilc organized thisseminar with the father of the bear,Till Schilling.

On that particular occasion I immedi-ately called Sabina and ordered tenteddy bears. They started to do theirmission, but not only with childrenbut also with teachers… Zdravkowent home with some of them. Chil-dren accepted him with enthusiasmand know how to tap when they havedifferent problems. He particularlycharmed them with his magic lookand special softness and warmth …

We have more than twenty teddybears at school nowadays that ac-company children in kindergartenand school, on different events, theyare the main characters of your sto-ries, songs, drawings, aren’t they mydear children…

This is a special quality besideseducational effects that Zdravkoalso brings in the area of creativity.

You can ask about our “teenagers”.Do they also need a teddy bear?Oh, they need him very much,maybe even more … He makesthem feel better, he eases fear be-fore tests, is their guardian andfriend.

The process of accepting was go-ing on a bit slower and differentlywith these children ... Unlike ourlittle rogues who accepted Zdravkospontaneously, teenagers startedto recognize his mission only whentheir peers accepted him. This hap-pened when we appeared on VTV.Nika from the ninth class and Mašafrom the fifth class were with me.Long minutes of waiting before theappearance and fear from it werefilled with tapping and the teddybear …

Maša and Nika were excited aboutthe effect of calming. The showwas excellent too…At school theystarted to besiege teachers to intro-duce tapping with Zdravko to allchildren. Now he is always presentin different classrooms, children arearguing for him …

In short, he has won our hearts –children’s and teachers’…Thisteddy bear is becoming our friend,a doctor, a comforter, a benefactor,a reveller – he softens our heartsand opens us for compassion …

Dear children, professional workersand parents, I am happy and proudthat we succeeded in making anew and better energy together …

A proof of that is our best newspa-per, full of goodness and love …Thanks to all collaborators, in par-ticular to the chief editor KarmenZupanc.

The principal with Zdravko and the children from the kindergarten

Dear children, teachers and par-ents, what do you say about mystatement? In autumn, when webegan a new school year, we wereall surprised by the new flu and youprobably still remember how ourschool suddenly became hell. Butnot because of the disease but be-cause of the many journalists whowere ruling our school for almost aweek.

During that time I brought first teddybears into the kindergarten andschool. I ordered them at SabinaŠilc, a university graduate psycholo-gist and a family therapist, whobrought Zdravko to Slovenia. Shekindly introduces his origin in hercontribution that she wrote particu-larly for our newspaper. She saysthat she is proud of us because weare the first school where Zdravkofeels at home and he gained heartsof children and teachers … She isjust setting up “The Society BearZdravko” for which she was given areward as the sunniest person ofthe year. Sabina has visited ustwice and she taught us about ahealing teddy bear and his magicbuttons. Now I should go back to

Dragi moji prijatelji in prijateljice!

Vam kar tako rečem, saj so vsi prijatelji Medveda Zdravkatudi moji.

Pa veste, kje se je Medved Zdravko rodil? V Ameriki vdružini Tilla Schillinga. Till je svojo družino naučil tapkati.Njegova takrat 11 let stara hčerka Christina je imela staregamedveda. Vedela je, da gredo na obisk h bratrančku, ki je bilže malo prevelik za lulanje v hlače, pa je vseeno to delal. Nasvojega medveda je našila čarobne gumbke. Na obisku jebratrančka naučila, kako si z Zdravkom pomaga. Odrasli somislili, da se samo igrata, ampak bratranček se nikoli več nipolulal v hlače. Till je vedel, da je Zdravko poseben medvedin ga je želel predstaviti tudi drugim otrokom v stiski. Celadružina je potem 3 mesece hodila po trgovinah z igračami,pa pravega medveda niso našli, zato so si ga kar samiizmislili. Imajo črnega kužka, ki so ga rešili, ki ima neverjetnomodre oči in vedeli so, da bo imel Zdravko ravno take.Tillova žena je dodala še Zdravkov zaščitni znak (najdete gana šapici) in Medved je šel na pot okoli sveta. Poznajo gaotroci v 60-ih državah in med njimi je tudi Slovenija.

Meni je Zdravko najbolj všeč zato, ker si z njim lahko SAMIpomagate, nobenega odraslega ne potrebujete zraven. Šebolje pa je, da lahko VI otroci z Medvedom Zdravkompomagate odraslim! Tokrat ste se nečesa dobrega(tapkanja) naučili prej kot vaši starši in jih lahko poučite,kako si lahko pomagajo v svojih težavah.

Tudi odrasli jih imamo veliko, samo včasih namje nerodno o njih govoriti pred otroki.

Gospa ravnateljica Valerija Pukl mi je dovolila,da pokukam v tale časopis, še preden je bildokončno izoblikovan in moram vam povedati,da sem bila ZELO vesela, da imate Zdravkatako radi in vam pomaga. Tale vaš časopis ženestrpno pričakujejo na Ministrstvu za šolstvo,kjer so ta glavni za šole. Moja želja je, da biMedveda Zdravka imeli otroci tudi v drugihšolah. Prevod časopisa pa gre še topel vAmeriko h Tillu Schillingu, ki ga bo pokazalotrokom po celem svetu, pa tudi v Mehiko hDeborah Miller, ki z Medvedom Zdravkomobiskuje hudo bolne otroke v bolnicah in jimpomaga hitreje ozdraveti. Dear friends!

I call you my friends, be-cause every friend ofZdravko is also my friend.

Do you know where Zdravkowas born? He was born inAmerica in Till Schilling’sfamily. Till taught his familyto tap. His eleven-year-olddaughter Christina had anold teddy bear. She knewthat they were going to visither cousin, who was too oldfor peeing in his trousers, buthe did it anyway. Shesewed magic buttons on herteddy bear. During the visitshe taught her little cousinhow he could help himselfwith Zdravko. Adults thoughtthat they were playing, buther cousin did not pee in histrousers anymore. Till knewthat Zdravko is a specialbear and he wanted to intro-duce him to other children introuble. The whole family

was walking around toyshops for three months, butthey did not find the rightteddy bear, so they madehim up. They have a blackpuppy, they saved and it hasincredible black eyes andthey knew that Zdravkowould have the same eyes.Till's wife added Zdravko'sprotective sign (on his foot)and Zdravko went on thejourney around the world.Children in sixty countriesknow him and Slovenia isone of them.

I like Zdravko the most be-cause you can help yourself,you do not need adults withyou. It is even better thatYOUR children can helpadults with Zdravko! Thistime you know somethinggood (tapping) before yourparents and you can teachthem how they can helpthemselves when they haveproblems. Adults also have alot of problems but we do notlike to speak about them in

front of our children.

Your principal, ValerijaPukl, allowed me to peekinto your newspaper be-fore it is totally finishedand I have to tell you that Iwas VERY happy be-cause you love Zdravkoand he helps you. Theyare hardly waiting for thisnewspaper at the Educa-tion Ministry that is re-sponsible for schools. Thetranslation of the newspa-per goes to America to TillSchilling and he will showit to children all around theworld, and in Mexico toDeborah Miller, who visitsvery ill children in hospi-tals and helps them getbetter with Zdravko. otrokom je bilo žal inso mu rekli oprosti.Prosili so ga, najpostane njihovprijatelj. Vsi otroci sopostali prijazni inpravi prijatelji. Skupaj so objeliZdravka in »TAPKALI« po glavi, počelu, nad učkami, pod učkami, podnosom, po bradi in na obeh stranehsrčka.

POSKUSITE ŠE VI, DA BOSTEPRIJAZNI IN SREČNI.

V vrtcu na Polzeli so v najstarejšiskupini živeli različni otroci.Prijazni in neprijazni, majhni inveliki. Govorili so grde besede inbili neprijazni s fantkom Timom.Fantek Tim je bil vesel otrok. Bilje manjši in niso hoteli, da je prinjih. Vedno je bil oblečen v istotrenerko. Neprijazni otroci so senorčevali iz njega. Govorili somu, da ima grde hlače in bluzo,in da je umazan. Rekli so mu, dasmrdi in je grd, ne marajo ga.Timu je bilo hudo, bil je zeložalosten. Povedal jim je, da to nires, da mu je mamica vse oprala,in da nima nič drugega za obleči.Niso ga poslušali, smejali so semu še bolj. Nihče ni bil njegovprijatelj, nihče se ni hotel igrati znjim. Tim se je skril v kotiček inbil zelo žalosten. V skupini pa sobili tudi prijazni otroci. Bilo jim jetežko in radi bi mu pomagali.Vabili so ga, naj se igra z njimi innaj bo pri njih. Ni hotel, saj je bilpreveč žalosten. Deklice so mukazale, kako se »TAPKA«, a nipomagalo. Na pomoč sopoklicale medvedka Zdravka.Povedal jim je, kako mu je všečtapkanje in jim predlagal, danaučijo Tima. Tim mora samtapkati toliko časa, da bo žalost

odšla in bo tudi on vesel. Tapkali soskupaj. PO GLAVI, PO ČELU, NADUČKAMI, POD UČKAMI, PODNOSOM, PO BRADI IN NA OBEHSTRANEH SRČKA. Tim jim je zaupal,da si močno želi novih oblačil. Rad bibil tudi on lep.

Medvedek Zdravko ga je odpeljal kskupini otrok, ki so tkale blago izrazlični nitk. Vprašala sta, ali bi lahkodobila nove rdeče hlače. Otroci tkalciso mu povedali, da nimajo rdečebarve. Naj jo gresta iskat k mavrici.Odšla sta iskat mavrico in jo našla.Deklice mavrice so mešale čudovitebarve. Prijazno so mu podarile rdečobarvo. Dobil je rdeče blago in gaodnesel k skupini šivalcev. Obljubili somu nove rdeče hlače. Imel pa je tudiraztrgane čevlje in medvedek Zdravkoga je odpeljal k otrokom, ki soizdelovali čevlje. Tim si je želel modrečevlje brez vezalk. Toda Tim je bilzopet žalosten, vse je videl, nič pa nidobil. K njemu sta preleteli dvepikapolonici. Da bi se mu uresničileželje, sta mu podarili nekaj svojihčrnih pik za srečo. Objeli so se inzapeli pesmico o pikapolonici. Tim inZdravko sta odšla k otrokom. Podariliso mu nova oblačila in nove čevlje.Preoblekel se je in si obul nove čevlje.Bil je presrečen, objel je medvedkaZdravka in otroke. Neprijaznim

Zdravko pomaga Timu

Medvedek Zdravko je že od začetka šolskega leta stalni član naše skupine. Naredili smo gakar sami, tako da smo mu na določena mesta na telesu prišili gumbe. Medvedek ima stalnomesto na omari in je ves čas našega bivanja z nami. Najpogosteje sede z nami v krogprijateljstva in takrat prisluhne vsem našim doživetjem, dogodkom, veselju in tudi težavam, kise pojavijo v skupini. Medvedka Zdravka stisnemo k sebi, kadar smo žalostni, pomaga nam v

mediacijah pri reševanju konfliktov ali pa je naš prijatelj v igri.

Medvedke smo izdelali tudi doma skupaj s starši z odpadlega materiala. Medvedek Zdravkoje v lutkovni igrici, ki smo jo zaigrali ob kulturnem prazniku, tolažil kužka, ki ni znal lajati in ga

uspešno pripeljal do pravega učitelja.

Different chil-dren lived in thebiggest group in

the kindergar-ten in Polzela.

They were kindand unkind,

short and tall. They were using uglywords and were very unkind to aboy whose name was Tim. Tim wasa very happy child. He was shorterthan others and children did notwant him to be in their group. Healways wore the same tracksuit.Unkind children were making fun ofhim. They told him that his trousersand sweatshirt are ugly and that heis dirty. They told him that he stinksand that he is ugly. They did not likehim. Tim felt bad, he was sad. Hetold children that this was not true,that his mummy washed everythingand that he did not have anythingelse to wear. They did not listen tohim. They laughed even more. Hedid not have any friends, nobodywanted to play with him. Tim hid ina corner and was very sad. Butthere were also some kind childrenin this group. They felt bad andwanted to help Tim. They invitedhim to play with them. He did not

want to as he was too sad. Girlsshowed him how to tap, but it didnot help. They called Zdravko forhelp. Zdravko told them how muchhe liked tapping and suggested toteach Tim how to tap. Tim has totap by himself until sadness goesaway and then he will be happy aswell. They tapped together: ONTHE HEAD, ON THE FOREHEAD,UNDER AND ABOVE THE EYES,UNDER THE NOSE, ON THE CHINAND ON BOTH SIDES OF THEHEART. Tim told them about hiswish for new clothes. He also wantsto look better.

Zdravko took him to the group ofchildren who were weaving fabricsfrom different threads. They asked ifthey could get new red trousers.Children told them that they did nothave the red colour. They should goto the rainbow and search for it.They went to search for a rainbowand they found it. Rainbow girlswere mixing wonderful colours.They kindly gave him the red colour.

Tim got the red fabric and took it tothe group of sewers. They promisedhim new red trousers. Tim also hadtorn shoes and Zdravko took him tothe children who were making

shoes. Tim wanted blue shoeswithout shoelaces. But Tim wassad again as he saw everythingand he did not get anything. Twoladybirds flew to him. They wantedTim's wishes to come true, so theygave him some of their blackspots for happiness. They huggedeach other and sang a song abouta ladybird. Zdravkov kotiček v Andražu

V knjižnem kotičku za starše smo slikovno in besedilnoopremili medvedka Zdravka. Poudarek je na boljši

prepoznavnosti in namembnosti medvedka, ki služi zaigro in za mediacijske namene. Ker je medvedek

terapevtski EFT pripomoček za otroke, je njegovnamen tudi ta, da otroku, ki sam ne zna eftati,

pomagajo starši. Starši pa lahko pomagajo svojimotrokom le na tak način, da se tudi sami izobražujejo.

In the book corner for parents we equipped Zdravko with picturesand a text. The emphasis is on better recognition and purpose of thebear, which can be used for a game and for medical reasons.Because the bear is a therapeutic EFT accessory for children, healso has another purpose for those children who cannot tapthemselves and they can get help from their parents. Parents canonly help their children to educate themselves as well.

Meni je pa Zdravko pomagal risati in pisati v njegov zvezek, pa nalogo mije pomagal delat. Ponoči sem ga objel, pa ko sem se zbudil, tudi. (Žan)

Meni pa pomaga, da me ni strah drugih kužkov, ko pridejok nam. Enkrat, ko je moja sestrica praznovala rojstni dan, jebil z nami. Prišla sta tudi dva kužka, pa se ju nisem ničbala, ker sem imela Zdravka. (Veronika)

Z Zdravkom sva skupaj spala, jedla, oblekla sem ga v svojehlače in bluze od takrat, ko sem še bila dojenček. Delalasva snežaka. Ati nama je pomagal še iglu naredit, patobogan iz snega. Sva se vozila skupaj po njem. Potemsmo skupaj skopali muco s šamponom, da je dišala. Atija je

MEDVEDEK Z DRAVK O

Ko sem prvič prinesla Zdravka v svoj razred, so biliotroci navdušeni nad njim. Očaralo jih je že to, daima svojo vrečo, kamor hodi spat in v kateri potujeokrog, da ima svoj podpis – šapico in tudi gumbkeso seveda takoj opazili. Razložila sem jim, zakaj sogumbki, potem pa smo jih iskali na svojem telesu.Vsak dan smo prebrali zgodbico o Zdravku intapkali ob njej. Potem smo barvali njegovepobarvanke. Zdravko je vse to počel z nami …

V razredu imamo tudi fantka, ki je zelo težaven. Je zelonemiren, če ni po njegovem, se takoj razburi in je tudimočno agresiven do otrok in do učiteljev. Skratka, jezelo moteč. Na začetku šolskega leta sem z odporomhodila v razred, saj nisem nikoli vedela, kakšne izbruhebo imel. Ko pa je spoznal Zdravka, nama je uspelo, dasva se začela dogovarjati. Vedno, kadar mu je uspeloza kratek čas obvladovati svoje obnašanje, je dobilZdravka. In želel ga je vsak dan, zanj se je tudi zelotrudil. Problem je bil le v tem, da ga je ves čas želel lezase. In če sem mu dovolila, ni bilo nobenih večjihtežav. Zato sem si za ostale otroke v knjižnici moralaizposoditi še enega medveda. Tako so ga spoznali inga lahko uporabljajo tudi drugi. Tolaži jih, ko se nepočutijo dobro, ko jih kaj boli, kadar so utrujeni, žalostni,jezni … in vedno jim odleže.

Sicer malokdaj tapkajo z njim, ga samo stiskajo, mušepetajo v uho in potem pripovedujejo, kaj jim jeZdravko povedal. Z njimi tudi riše, piše, barva, gradi,posluša pravljice in se igra …

Problematični fantič pa je tudi že toliko napredoval, daga ne potrebuje več ves čas, ampak ga že lahko deli zdrugimi. Tako imamo dva medveda, ki nam krajšata inpopestrita vsakdan. Velikokrat skupaj tapkamo.

Naš Zdravko pa je postal tudi medijska zvezda. Pred

novoletnim dobrodelnim sejmom ga jegospa ravnateljica predstavila nateleviziji, nastopal pa je tudi na samemdobrodelnem koncertu. Takrat so gaspoznali tudi devetošolci in ostal je karpri njih v razredu, kjer je priložnostnoprespal. Zdaj z njim tapkajo predkontrolnimi nalogami … Mi pa si vsosednjem razredu večkrat sposodimo njihovegaZdravka, ker smo navajeni na dva. In nikoli nista sama,vedno ju kdo objema in zabava.

Odkar smo prebrali vse zgodbice, je minilo že kar nekajčasa. Zadnjič pa so me otroci vprašali, kdaj bomo bralinove zgodbe. Zato sem prinesla v razred knjigo 99balonov. Zanje je sicer še pretežka, a ker je napisana nahumoren način, vsak dan komaj čakajo, da se lahkonasmejijo ob novi zgodbi. Vendar vsako zgodboobnovimo še s svojimi besedami, da jo vsi razumemo.

Po novoletnih počitnicah me je vprašala mamica nekedeklice, zakaj Zdravko ne spremlja otrok tudi domov. Zato željo sem sicer vedela, ker so jo večkrat izrazili žeotroci, a sem razmišljala, kako ga bodo pazili. Potem pasmo se dogovorili, da lahko Zdravka vsak dan nesetadomov dva otroka. V torbico smo Zdravku priložili tudizvezek, v katerega otroci narišejo ali napišejo, kaj jeZdravko pri njih doma počel. Vsak otrok bo prišel navrsto dvakrat. Enkrat med tednom, ko bo Zdravko lahkoprespal eno noč, in enkrat ob vikendu, ko bo lahko znjim prespal kar tri noči. Otroci so navdušeni, tudi staršiso navdušeni in hvaležni. Zvezka pa se pridno polnita inprav lepo ju je prelistati. Zanimivo je prebrati, da je bilZdravko že v trgovini, pa v kinu in še kje. Skratka –Zdravko je naš!

And they arenever alone as there is always someone who ishugging them.Some time has gone by since we read all the sto-ries about Zdravko. The other day children askedme when we were going to read new stories. So Ibrought a book 99 Balloons into the classroom.The book is too difficult for them, but as it is writtenin a humorous way, children cannot wait to listenand laugh with a new story. We retell each storyby using our own words, so that everyone can un-derstand it.After New Year’s holiday one girl’s mother askedme why Zdravko does not go home with children. I

knew that children had that wish because they told meabout it before, but I was having second thoughts as Idid not know how they were going to take care of him.Then we agreed that every day Zdravko would gohome with two children. In Zdravko's bag we also havea notebook where children draw or write what Zdravkowas doing at their house. Every child will take Zdravkohome twice. Once during the week to sleep throughthe night, and once during the weekend when he cansleep with them three nights. Children and parents areenthusiastic and grateful. When I brought Zdravko into my classroom for thefirst time, children were excited about him. They wereimpressed with his own bag, where he goes to sleepand travels around and with his own signature – theynoticed a paw and the buttons immediately. I ex-plained the purpose of buttons to them and then wesearched for them on our bodies. We read a storyabout Zdravko every day and we were tapping whilewe were listening. Then we were colouring his colour-ing book. Zdravko was doing all that with us …In our classroom there is a boy who is very difficult. He isvery restless if things aren't his way, he gets angry veryeasily and he is also very aggressive towards children andteachers. In short, he is very disturbing. At the beginningof the school year I did not like to come to the classroombecause I never knew what he was going to do. When hemet Zdravko, we managed to start talking to each other.Every time he was able to control his behaviour for a shortperiod of time, he got Zdravko. He wanted Zdravko everyday, so he was trying to behave himself very much. Theonly problem was that he wanted Zdravko for himself allthe time. If I let him have it, there were not any problems.So I borrowed another Zdravko in the library for other chil-dren. In that way they got to know Zdravko and also usehim. He makes them feel better. He comforts them whenthey don't feel good, if something hurts them or if they aretired, sad, angry… and they always feel better.They rarely tap with him, they just squeeze him, whisper tohis ear and then tell what Zdravko told them. Zdravkodraws, writes, colours, builds, listens to stories and playswith children.The problematic boy has improved so much that he doesnot need Zdravko all the time and he can already sharehim with the others. Ko je medvedek Zdravkoprišel v razred, smo ga biliveseli, jaz pa še najbolj. Obnjem je bilo takoj prijetnovzdušje.

Potoval je po razredu, vsakga je lahko potapkal poglavi, ga stisnil k sebi in muzaupal, kaj ga muči. Mislim,da je vsem pomagal, saj sobili vsi dobre volje. Tudimeni je pomagal premagatibolečino iz kolena. Menim,

sebe na približno enakih mestih. Sam sprva nisem verjel vtega medvedka, a sem na generalki za dobrodelni koncertto mnenje popolnoma spremenil. Na generalki za koncertso bili tudi otroci iz vrtca. Nek fantek je tam zelo jokal.Vzgojitelj mu je prinesel medvedka Zdravka in fantek ga jemočno stisnil k sebi, ga potapkal in njegovih solz ni biloveč. Vzgojitelj nama je izročil medvedka in tudi tisti dečekse nama je zahvalil. Šele takrat sem začel verjeti v tegamedvedka, ki resnično zdravi. Iz tega sem se naučil, da nidobro soditi prehitro.

Medvedek Zdravko je prav poseben medved, kizdravi. Pa ni samo medved, ampak je tudi prijatelj.

S tem medvedkom sem se prvič srečal na vajah zadobrodelni koncert. Z mojo povezovalko Moniko svaga pobližje spoznala, ko nama ga je predstavilaučiteljica iz nižje stopnje. Meni se je takrat tamedvedek zdel zelo neuporaben in smešen. Mislilsem si, da je to ena navadna igrača. Vendar imaZdravko na sebi posebne energetske točke, ki sooznačene z nekakšnimi gumbki. at the last rehearsal. At this rehearsal there werealso children from the kindergarten. One boy wascrying very much. A teacher brought him Zdravkoand this boy hugged him very hard, tapped himand he stopped crying. The teacher gave us theteddy bear and the crying boy also thanked us.Then I started to believe in this teddy bear thatreally cures. From this experience I learned that itis not good to judge too quickly.

Zdravko is a very special teddy bear who heals. He is not justa bear, he is also a friend.

I first met this teddy at the rehearsals for the charity concert.Monika and I got to know him better when a teacher fromlower classes introduced him to us. At that time I thought thatthis teddy was useless and funny. I thought this was a usualtoy. But Zdravko has special energetic spots on him, which aremarked with some buttons. If you tap on them, you feel betterquickly. First you tap spots that are marked on the teddy bearand then you tap on yourself on the same spots. Da bi devetošolci sprejeli medseštiridesetcentimetrskega medvedkain se tapkali? Dajte no, ne meprepričevat! Otroke precej dobropoznam, imam skoraj dvajset letizkušenj z delom v razredu in vem,na kaj primejo in kaj deluje.

To sem imela v glavi, ko nam jeravnateljica razlagala, da bodo vsiotroci na šoli tapkali in spoznalimedvedka Zdravka. Zdelo se mi jesprejemljivo, da se z njim ukvarjajov prvem triletju. Prepričana sembila, da bo kolegica Majda znalatega medvedka imenitno vključiti vdelo z otroki in jih bo znalanavdušiti, da ga bodo uporabljalikot prijatelja, ki zdravi in pomirja.To sem doživela na lastne oči, kosva z Majdo skupaj pripravljalitočke za dobrodelni koncert in jeTimu in Moniki navdušenorazlagala, kako dobrodošel članrazreda je medvedek. Podobrodelnem koncertu pa jemedvedek Zdravko skupaj zobjemčkom ostal v mojem razredu,shranila sem ga, da ga v

ponedeljek vrnem Majdi. A ga vponedeljek zagledajo devetošolciin Nika, ki jo je ravnateljica žepoučila o tapkanju, me zgrabi zajezik. »Učiteljica, vi ste o tem imeliseminar. Povejte nam kaj otapkanju!« Zanikati nisem mogla ins cmokom v grlu sem začelarazlagati o točkah po telesu, kjerzastaja energija, in kako lahkopovečamo »pretočnost«. Otroci soposlušali, se tapkali, nihče se nismejal, medvedek pa je celo uroostal v naročju največjegadevetošolca. Na koncu ure sembila jaz najbolj šokirana in spet semi je podrla predstava, da »že vsevem«. Ne, otroci me lahko vednoznova presenetijo. Tako me ševedno, saj je medvedek Zdravkopo dveh mesecih še vedno izjemnozaželena »oseba«. Skoraj vsakouro se osmo- in devetošolcipotegujejo, kdo ga bo lahko imel vnaročju. Včasih si ga izmenjujejo,včasih ga ima celo uro eden.Včasih se kdo potapka, včasih kdotapka medvedka. Nič ne

komentiramo, saj smo se tegaprivadili.

Čustva. Pomembno je, daizražamo čustva, mi je šlo po glavi,ko sem prvi teden zelo razmišljalao zame presenetljivih reakcijahotrok. Tudi oni morajo izražatinežnost, čutijo strah, potrebujejovarnost. In ker so že tako »veliki«in »odrasli«, smo pozabili, da so ševedno z eno nogo otroci oziromajim ne damo možnosti, da po svojepokažejo čustva. V otroštvu je resvse tako enostavno: poveš, da teje strah, da bi se cartal – in odrasliti skušajo ugoditi ali preprostonosiš s sabo igračo. Potemnaenkrat zrasteš, čustva so vednomočnejša, ti pa ne veš, kaj bi znjimi in kako bi jih izrazil. In zato jev razredu tako dobrodošelmedvedek Zdravko. Ne damo ga.

Ob medvedku mi je lepo, ker me umirja in me spravlja k delu, pa še tapkam lahko in imamzato lepši dan. Lepo ga je stisniti k sebi.

Would you believe thatthe children in the ninthclass accept a fortycentimetres big teddybear and tap them-selves? Oh, come on! Iknow children prettywell as I have almosttwenty years of experi-ence of working in theclassroom and I knowwhat works.

I had this in my headwhen our principal toldus how all children atschool would tap andmeet Zdravko. Itseemed acceptable thatthey would be inter-ested in Zdravko in thefirst triad. I was surethat my colleague Ma-jda would include thisteddy bear perfectly inher work with children,that she would knowhow to excite them touse Zdravko as a friendwho heals and calmsyou down. I had thisexperience when Majdaand I were preparing aprogramme for thecharity concert and shetold Tim and Monikahow welcome the teddybear was in her class-room. After the charityconcert Zdravko stayedin my classroom tillMonday when I wouldgive him back to Majda.But on Monday the chil-dren from the ninthclass saw him andNika, who knew aboutZdravko from our princi-pal, prompted me tospeak. “Teacher, youhad a seminar aboutthis. Tell us somethingabout tapping!” I couldnot deny, so I startedtalking about spots onour body, where energy

stops and how can we increase fluidity. Children were listening,tapping, no one was laughing and the teddy bear stayed in thelap of the tallest child in the ninth class. At the end of the lessonI was shocked the most and my theory about “I know it all” col-lapsed. No, children can surprise me over and over again. Andthey still do, because Zdravko has been a very wanted “person”for already two months. Almost every lesson the children fromthe eighth and ninth class are arguing for having him in the lap.

Sometimes they ex-change him and some-times one child has himthe whole lesson.Sometimes they tapthemselves and some-times they tap Zdravko.We do not say anythingbecause we got usedto it.

Feelings. The thoughtof how important it is toexpress our feelingswent through my headwhen I was thinkingabout children’s sur-prising reactions. Theyalso have to expresstenderness, they feelfear, need security.Because they are so»big« and »grown-up«we forgot that they arestill children and thatwe do not give them achance to express theirfeelings in their ownway. During our child-hood everything is verysimple: you tell that youare afraid, that youneed cuddling – andthe adults want toplease you or you sim-ply carry a toy with you.Then suddenly yougrow up, feelings arestronger and you donot know what to dowith them or how toexpress them. And thatis why Zdravko is avery welcome teddybear in the classroom.We won't give himaway.

V našem razredu imamo »medota«. Ime mu jeZdravko. Naš medo je okoli gobčka in ponogah bel, oči in desni podplat ima modre. Nadesni tački ima rumeno dlan. Na hrbtu imaluknjo. Verjetno ga je kdo preveč stisnil. Jares, ljubezen je uničujoča ... Tudi na trebuhuse že dela luknja. Verjetno mu je kdo hoteliztrgati srce, pa se je spomnil, da je plišast. Pocelem telesu ima črne pike. Brez skrbi, to nisogarje, to so »akupresurne točke«. Te istetočke obstajajo tudi na ljudeh, samo da niso

označene (vsaj upam). Če se tapkaš ponjih, nisi več živčen, te pa bolijo roke, inče se tapkaš po glavi, tudi ta. Zdravka jetorej verjetno izumil zelo živčen človek zmigreno. Ker kadar tapkaš njega, tebolijo samo roke, a ponavadi pomagaže, če ga močnoooooo objameš. DragiZdravkov izumitelj, 8. č-skupina ti jehvaležna.

Zdravko … nepogrešljivi član pri igri Spogledovanje

učenec 7. a. Sedel je na učiteljičinimizi in jih opazoval, kako so pisali.In že samo dejstvo, da je bil mednjimi, je bilo dovolj, da so sepočutili umirjene in varne. Sedaj jeZdravko stalni spremljevalec 7. apri vseh preizkusih.

Ne dolgo tega pa se nam jepridružil tudi na oddelčni uri, in kosmo se igrali našo najboljpriljubljeno igro Spogledovanje,

nismo niti pomislili, da bi ga izločiliiz igre.

Vsakič, ko moram medvedka vrniti,se učenci težko poslovijo od njega,zato so seveda toliko bolj veseli, dabo prišel Zdravko v našo učilnico»za stalno«.

Zdravka sem sedmošolcem prvičprinesla v razred kakšen mesec podobrodelnem koncertu, in sicer tikpred preizkusom iz naravoslovja. Kosem jim razložila, kako potekatapkanje in kakšno vlogo ima pri temZdravko, so bili nad njim takonavdušeni, da sem morala kolegicoprositi, če nam lahko Zdravkaodstopi še za eno uro. Zdravko jetako med uro naravoslovja postal 29.

In our class we have a bear. His name is Zdravko. Our bearis white around the snout and legs, his eyes and his rightpalm are blue. On his right paw he has a yellow hand. Onhis back he has a hole. Probably someone hugged him toomuch. Love is really destructive…There is a hole on thepouch too. Someone probably wanted to rip out his heart,but he remembered that Zdravko is a soft toy. He has blackspots on his body. Do not worry, these are not scabies,these are »acupressure spots«. These same spots alsoexist on people, but they are not marked (I hope). If you tap

on them, you stop being nervous, but your arms hurtand if you tap on the head, it also hurts. Zdravko wasprobably invented by a very nervous man sufferingfrom a migraine. Because if you tap him, only yourarms hurt, so it is usually enough if you justSTROOOOONGLY hug him. Dear inventor ofZdravko, 8. č group is grateful to you.

Zdravko … an indispensablemember at the game Flirting

Why Zdravko is useful in 8. č group

I first brought Zdravko to the seventh class a month after ourcharity concert, just before a science test. When I explainedZdravko’s role, they were so excited about him that I asked mycolleague to let me have it for one more lesson. During thelesson of science Zdravko became the 29th member of 7. a.He was sitting on the teacher's desk and observing them whilethey were writing a test. And because he was with them, theyfelt calmer and safer. Now Zdravko is a constant companion of7.a when they write a test.

Not long ago Zdravko joined us during our class lesson whenwe were playing our popular game –Flirting, and we did noteven think of excluding him from the game.

Every time I have to return the teddy bear, children have ahard time saying goodbye. That is why they will be much hap-pier when Zdravko comes to our classroom for ever.
