• Carers have very important role in people with mental health problem’s life.
• Therefore they need sufficient knowledge need education and support

Aim(s)• To meet the needs of carers by providing
funding to assist carers int their role, to promote and sustain the caring relationship and improve the wellbeing of carers.

caring relationshio with a person who is receiving services from a Victorian public mental health service.

Lesson Learnts• Regulation that focus on the carers is urgently needed. The
regulation should take into account of security, convinience, and the quality life of carers and all family members of person with mental health disability.
• The carers need appropriate education, information and advocacy, regarding to the problem of mental health disability. should be well coordinated.
• Social workers need support from environment, families and communities.
• Increasing involvement of carers is very important to be developed in Indonesia, through dissemination, education, information and so on. This effort need increase role of social workers.

Ideas for Implementing in Indonesia• The carers in Indonesia mostly are hidden
victims, who never taken into account in almost everything.
• In Indonesia, families (or carers) should be responsible to the person with mental health problem without any support from government.
• Recommendation should be input explisitly in the Mental Health Law: the right of advocacy of carers Legal protection
