II. SUMILLA :
El presente curso pertenece al año académico 2013, y está conformado por doce unidades, que va enfocado a desarrollar y activar las habilidades comunicativas de nuestros estudiantes a través de contenidos en actividades como listening, speaking, reading, and writing que estén referidos al desarrollo gramatical, lingüístico y fonético del idioma mediante el análisis, comprensión y aplicación de funciones en la comunicación oral y escrita. El objetivo fundamental es buscar el desarrollo, integración y aplicación de su competencia comunicativa en la comprensión y producción de textos orales y escritos, brindando experiencias de aprendizaje que posibiliten su desarrollo. Todos estos elementos les permitirán enfrentarse con seguridad a los diversos cambios culturales y tecnológicos que van sucediendo en el mundo; reafirmando con ello su autoestima y el respeto hacia la diversidad cultural, ya que al entrar en contacto con otras culturas a través del canal de la lengua favorece la comprensión, el respeto hacia otras formas de pensar y actuar. Durante las clases se fundamentará la práctica de valores que contribuyan a una formación integral de los estudiantes del Primer Grado de Educación Secundaria.
III. OBJETIVOS :
Comprende y se expresa de manera oral con eficiencia y fluencia propia de un alumno del nivel pre – intermedio, en forma coloquial y/o formal, intercambiando información sobre sí mismo y sus compañeros; es decir, interactuando sobre lo que ocurre en su entorno, utilizando el idioma Inglés. En este proceso de adquisición de una lengua extranjera, demostrando respeto por los demás y perseverancia frente a sus posibles dificultades que pudieran suscitarse en clase.
Comprende y se expresa de manera escrita, teniendo en cuenta el contexto social que la situación comunicativa presenta, de donde proviene el texto; utilizando las palabras y expresiones correctas en forma coloquial y/o formal, demostrando en todo momento responsabilidad y respeto hacia sus compañeros.
Participa activamente en clase de manera individual y/o grupal ayudando a enriquecer el proceso pedagógico, fomentando de manera grupal las relaciones cooperativas entre sus compañeros a través de la interacción comunicativa.

IV. METODOLOGÍA: a) Método de Redescubrimiento en Equipo
Con éste método, se propiciará la participación activa individual y colectiva; para así mantener una buena relación entre docente – alumnos.
b) Enfoque Situacional de la Lengua, este método tiene los siguientes momentos: Presentación: A través de práctica de la pronunciación y situación. Práctica de elementos que causan problemas. Construcción de los modelos en contexto.
Técnicas Técnica Docente – Céntricos: Se utilizará las técnicas expositiva, técnica interrogativa y
técnica del diálogo. Técnica discentes – Céntricas: Discusión Dirigida.
El docente motiva, orienta y potencia el aprendizaje del alumno, se convierte en un facilitador durante el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje individualmente o en grupo, mostrando en todo momento estímulo y empatía a los alumnos; favoreciendo la iniciativa, capacidad de descubrimiento y el desarrollo, respetando los planteamientos de cada alumno.

V. SISTEMA DE EVALUACION :La evaluación en el Curso, se hará permanente e integralmente, teniendo en cuenta los
indicadores para cada uno de los aprendizajes esperados y los procesos mentales o cognitivos ya propuestos en cada sesión de aprendizaje, del mismo modo se tendrá en cuenta el desarrollo evolutivo de los participantes, intereses y necesidades, estilos de aprendizaje. Cada indicador será evaluado de forma cualitativa o cuantitativa con uno o más instrumentos de evaluación. Para lo cual hemos seleccionado los siguientes: observation sheet, check list, practice sheets, unit test.
