at the seminars, trainings and youth exchanges where you get the

opportunity to travel and meet young people from all around Europe.

NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro was founded 30th March 2011.

Our mission is improving of active participation of young people in the society. We want to provide the conditions for fulfillment of the aims and needs and talent and possibility of young people all benefiting the whole society. Our vision is a society based on democratic principles with educated, informed young people who actively participate in the processes of decision making.

Main goal of the organization is: improvement of the position of the young people, informing, improving of active participation in the society as well as raising the awareness about the issues and problem concerning young people.

Other aims of Mladiinfo Montenegro are: Raising the awareness of the students about the

possibilities of studying and working abroad. Creating the space for activities of students and

graduates, Raising the awareness about the informal education Promotion of volunteering and its importance for

volunteers and society Promotion of active citizenship among young people Promotion of other cultures and countries Increasing multicultural sensitivity Creating the space for discussion about important

questions, especially global issues and EU Improving of the exchanges of the ideas and

experiences, mutual understanding and equal rights and opportunities among young people.

I always wondered why someone doesn’t do something about that. Then

I realized that I am somebody!

Mladiinfo Montenegro is a member of European network of youth media European Youth Press and Montenegrin Youth Forum- umbrella organization of the organizations

dealing with young people, Mladiinfo International network and networks for education and the development

of support service (MERSP).

Joined partner at the project Local coalition for development of the community conducted by Association of the agencies for local democracy Niksic

Partner at Youth in Action project of European Youth Press Press Goes Green.

8th March action with an aim to make the day of women more beautiful and give a gift and support messages to the ladies from the organization Sigurna ženska kuća.

With Action for the day of health young activists wanted to inform their neighbors about healthy lifestyles and point to the importance of living healthy.

Third birthday of the organization was celebrated by the action of voluntary blood donation in the Institute for blood transfusion in Podgorica, wishing to motivate young people with this gesture to actively participate in the society.

For the World day of health, members of our organization dressed up as medical personnel and were walking through the city while spreading the notes with health advices. By performing this action young activists wanted to raise the awareness of the citizens about the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.

For the World day of the protection of the children, we renewed and painted a playground in cooperation with Haus majstor company. This action was performed in order to make the days in our city more beautiful both for us and our children. The aim of this action is raising activism of the young people by contributing to a local community its youngest citizens, who should learn about the importance of volunteering from the earliest stage.

Apart from the web site www.mladiinfomontenegro.org with the information about various activities and projects conducted by NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro, organization also has a web site www.mladiniksica.me, where one can find information about various happenings and actions in Niksic. We also have a web site of informational - educational character www.informishi.me which will show young people how to live a healthy lifestyle.

Project Activity to participation was financially supported by the Fund for active citizenship. Project had an aim for raising the awareness about the need for active participation of young people in the life of a society and indication of forming the Youth council in Niksic.

Project The other side was created in a partnership with NTV Montena and was supported by the commission for diving the funds from gambling. Project had a subject of drugs prevention trough 5 educational - informative episodes.

Project With participation to changes was financially supported by the Centre for development of NGOs trough the project Active participation of civil society in the development of Montenegro financed by the EU by the way of Delegation of the EU in Montenegro. Project made an initiative to form a Council of youth in Niksic and the Draft of the local action plan for youth for 2013.
