    Work Experience

    June 2009 September 2011

    Debenhams - Sales Assistant

Following 2 weeks of work experience at the store in 2008 I was employed straight after I graduated

high school. Responsibilities included assisting and serving customers, handling money, cashing up

cash register at closing time, using the online ordering service point for customers. After a year I was

giving extra responsibilities in the form of a cash register key which allowed me to override cash

imbalances when cashing up, open the cash draw with no transaction, and approve of certain

actions such as out of date returns.

    Personal life

My entire life I have been interested in to video games. My earliest memories were of playing sonic2 on the Sega master system. As I grew older I became fascinated by the design and development of

the games. This is ultimately the reason why I decided to start programming. My favourite games

include Starcraft 2, Heroes of Newerth, and Battlefield 3.

I practice and perform the Cello achieving a grade of 4 and prior to university I performed with many

local orchestras since the age of 9.
