My dear brothers and sisters, If we believe that everything is a lesson, and we learn through each other and our experiences. Let us remember that in todays’ second reading, we hear that nothing separates us from the love of Christ, “neither death nor life, neither angels, nor principalities, etc.” Our God loves us so much that He does not abandon us, He is always providing for our needs and answering our prayers. Everything is on His time, and not on ours. He will give us what we need, and when we need it. Yet, we have to learn that when we wait for our prayers to be answered, God is teaching us something bigger, something greater, something better. That is why we should not focus on ourselves, but rather how is God trying to get us closer to Him in our prayers and in our daily lives. Knowing that God takes care of us and leads us where He wants us, the chapter of St. Gregory the Great in my life, will soon be coming to an end. During these extraordinary circumstances, I simply would like to invite you to pray with me on Sunday, August 16, at one of the masses. This allows us to continue to be united in God’s love for each other. Thank you for simply being God's instrument for me. My prayer for you today is that your heart may be opened to God’s love for you, and that you may grow in your relationship with Him. May the Lord bless you and keep you close to His Sacred Heart. Mis queridos hermanos y hermanas, Si creemos que todo es una lección, y aprendemos unos de otros y nuestras experiencias. Recordemos que, en la segunda lectura de hoy, escuchamos que nada nos separa del amor de Cristo, "ni la muerte ni la vida, ni los ángeles, ni los principados, etc." Nuestro Dios nos ama tanto que no nos abandona, siempre satisface nuestras necesidades y contesta nuestras oraciones. Todo está en su tiempo, y no en el nuestro. Él nos dará lo que necesitamos y cuando lo necesitemos. Sin embargo, tenemos que aprender que cuando esperamos que nuestras oraciones sean respondidas, Dios nos está enseñando algo más grande,|algo mejor. Es por eso que no debemos enfocarnos en nosotros mismos, sino en cómo Dios está tratando de acercarnos a Él en nuestras oraciones y en nuestra vida diaria. Sabiendo que Dios nos cuida y nos lleva a donde nos quiere tener, el capítulo de San Gregorio Magno en mi vida pronto llegará a su fin. Durante estas circunstancias extraordinarias, simplemente me gustaría invitarlos a rezar conmigo el domingo 16 de agosto en una de las misas. Holy Virgin of Guadalupe,

Queen of the Angels and Mother of the Americas. We fly to you today as your beloved children We ask you to intercede

for us with your Son, As you did t the wedding in Cana.

Pray for us, loving Mother,And gain for

our nation and world and for all our families and loved ones,

the protection of your holy angels, that we may be spared the worst

of this illness. For those already afflicted, We ask you to obtain the grace of

healing and deliverance. Hear the cries of those who are vulnerable and fearful, Wipe

away their tears and help them to trust.

In this time of trial and testing Teach all of us in the Church to love one

another and to be patient and kind. Help us bring the peace of Jesus to our land and to

out hearts

We come to you with confidence, Knowing that you truly are our

compassionate mother, health of the sick and cuase of our joy.

O God of compassion, your people are anxious in this time of pandemic.

Send your Holy Spirit among us to dispel our fears.

We cry out to you in our confusion; comfort us in our affliction.

Grant our leaders wisdom to guide us. Strengthen and sustain those who are ill,

and be with those who care for them. Help us to travel this road

in solidarity with our neighbors, with our eyes fixed on the salvation

promised us through the death and resurrection of your Son,

who is Lord forever and ever. Amen.

Oh, Dios de compasión, tu pueblo está angustiado

Pope Francis’s Prayer to Mary during Coronavirus Pandemic

O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope. We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm.

You, Salvation of Your People, know what we need, and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial.

Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us, through the cross, to the joy of the resurrection. Amen.

Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial, but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.
