EXECUTIVE SEARCH

Executive search comprises all search methods, targeting people who are in the market – not on the market. Each retained search begins with a detailed breakdown of the requirement through close consultation with the client.

A timescale for the search is agreed upon, an internal research team and specific consultants are assigned in order to best source, through proactive headhunting, the most suitable candidate in the market. This is most suitable when the client is trying to source a hard-to-find candidate or when working within a restricted timescale.

INTERIM

Sometimes there isn’t the budget or need for a permanent employee and what’s required is someone on an interim basis for a specific project or to act as cover during someone’s absence. Satellite Talent can provide large volume contractors on short or long-term contracts ranging anywhere from one to twelve months onwards.

Satellite Talent has access to a large network of highly-skilled experts across all disciplines that can be available at short notice for projects and programmes around the world.

Satellite Talent can take ownership of the delivery of a project team. Working with the business to plan and build out an entire service portfolio consisting of the planning, designing, business consulting, development, integration, testing, administration and support with ITAR security cleared professionals.

CONTINGENCY

Contingency search is a process in which Satellite Talent utilises an existing database and a number of other portals, proactively contacting those that may be suitable in the market.

This method follows a referral and recommendation process in which Satellite Talent performs initial screening of candidates, provides profiles of recommended candidates, and counsels each successful applicant through the interview, offer and inevitable counter offer process.

Companies that use these contingency services are usually well established organisations that have an ongoing recruitment need with no particular urgency. Satellite Talent typically delivers shortlists within 48-72 hours for each requirement received.

On average 8 out of every 10 candidates submitted are interviewed. With some clients there is currently a 100% success rate on all CVs submitted. Fees are based on the candidates annual package (excluding bonuses and commission)

Satellite Talent’s expert consultant in this field is Hany Eldeib, a veteran of the global satellite industry. After rising to the rank of Vice President of Network Planning at the largest satellite communications company in the world, he began his consultancy that addresses both the business and technical aspects of the satellite industry. He leverages his experience in satellite design and operations as well as in strategic planning and business analysis. Services include market and competitive analysis, pricing and technology trends analysis, and due diligence on specific companies.

Recent topics have included High Throughput Satellites (HTS), GEO/MEO/LEO constellations, Ka versus Ku bands, WiFi for aeronautical services, optical frequencies, detailed assessment specific company performance, as well as prospects for future technologies. MONTHLY FEE

This is essential for any start-up or early growth organisation where you have little or no revenue coming into the business.

How does it work? Satellite Talent will mutually agree to place ‘X’ number of people into your organisation over a set period of time, usually 12, 24 or 36 month periods. During this time there is a fixed monthly fee and no other fees associated with the placement of candidates. Regardless of what salary a candidate is offered, the fees stay the same.

Satellite Talent would sit down and go over organisational charts and recruitment plans for the coming year/s, understand the type of people needed, rough range of salaries and benefits for each grading. There would then be agreement on the maximum number of people that could be placed during that period.

A typical start-up normally has around 60 open positions to fill a year. Over the first two to three years however a start-up can outsource anywhere between 30-80 positions to Satellite Talent per year. Anything over this number can be agreed but advanced warning would be required.
